We ordered 2 items that were not on the menu in the exact same way in which we ordered them. The waitress didn’t specify how much we’d have to pay. In all fairness, we also didn’t ask.
When the bill arrived, it was a lot higher than what we had expected. We called the waiter and said that we were surprised about the amount. What followed was a 15 minute discussion where he kept asking us whether we enjoyed the food and whether we can’t afford it, neither of which was the point. He even admitted that there had been a misunderstanding with both sides having had a share in creating it. Still he insisted we have to pay the full amount, which we ended up doing.
The whole situation was quite undignified and it really wasn’t about keeping the customer happy or delivering good service. In any other restaurant we have ever been to, the waiter would have either called the manager (which he wasn’t) or offered a compromise. We left agitated and it spoiled our evening.

The restaurant is next to the Harrison Beach Hotel where we stayed for a night so decided to have
Our evening meal here.My wife had the lamb shanks from the menu but I decided on the halibut which was
a special as described by our waiter. The meal was excellent. When the bill came I had a shock when the halibut was
$62 ! I know halibut is not inexpensive but was surprised at the price. We did have an excellent meal and service was
very good but it was grossly overpriced.

Perfect view with a very elegant feel. We first came here a year ago without a child. This time me came with our little munchkin. Both experiences were 5 star.
This is the best restaurant in Harrison. If it were not for the relaxed feel of the town, you wouldn't set foot in here in anything less than formal attire.
This is the perfect spot for a date, or romantic night out. You wont be out of place dressing up. The menu offers several special dining options to make the night feel that much more unique.
The menu is small which in our experience always means they have mastered sourcing and cooking each item. The chefs are trained to prepare all the delicacies to perfection. The drink menu is small put top shelf. The service is 5 star.
As nice as the view is, as brilliant as the food was, and as comfortable as the venue was, the service was really what made the night.
If you go to Harrison and don't eat here, you've missed the point of travelling.

Dissapointed: Read the reviews prior to deciding. I firmly believe the reviews applied to a different restaurant !
Well, the first dissapointment was the beer menu, they're isn't one! 2 beers, both on tap none of which I recognized. OK, got it, not everyone wants a Corona. However, I ordered the Esgargot, my wife ordered the Duck Pate. The waitress sereved both BUT presented the silver ware tine end for the Esgargot and the Pate Knife with the business end in her hands. The Melba Toast for the Pate was decidely burnt to the point of un-edible. The Esgargot sauce camoflauged the Esgargot to the point it was un-identifiable. The sauce was quite good but I was hoping to taste the Esgargot. My wife ordered the Short Ribs whish were exceptional. However, I ordered the Duck which was tough and essentially un-acceptable.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were grossly overcharged for simple vegetarian dishes. The ingredients seemed basic and the presentation was lackluster, certainly not worth the exorbitant price.
The staff’s attitude made the situation even worse. They were uncooperative and exhibited a complete lack of hospitality. When we politely questioned the bill, they were dismissive and rude. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority here.
Overall, the combination of overpriced, mediocre food and unfriendly, unhelpful staff makes this a place I would never recommend. Save your money and avoid this restaurant at all costs.

I came here with my daughter and another family. We arrived early for our reservation and enjoyed a quiet restaurant with a lot of attention from our waiter. The kids and I had pasta, while my friend ordered the white fish. All of us enjoyed our food and finished our plates. As someone who eats out regularly in Vancouver, I sometimes find myself comparing restaurants outside of the city to those back home. However, it's important to remember that the staff, food prices, seasons, and business conditions are different.
Personally, I thought the food was good—not outstanding, but a decent bowl of pasta. However, their wine selection was fantastic! The service was pleasant and attentive. Although the prices are a bit high, especially compared to what we're used to in Vancouver, this is the reality of traveling and dining out.
I recommend this restaurant if you're at Harrison and looking for a 'nice' dinner that's a step above the usual burger and fish & chips options you typically find on the strip and are willing to drop $100 per couple.

We called in to Harrison Hot Springs on our way to Kelowna and looked for a restaurant. There are lots of burger and pizza places but we were struck by Morgan’s. It’s a small restaurant overlooking the beautiful lake and we sat outside for a lovely view. (They have patio heaters if it gets chilly). We both chose the rack of lamb special and it really was. Beautifully seasoned and very tender meat made it the best we have ever tasted. Not cheap at 50 dollars CAD each but perfect for a memorable meal.

Our entrees and drinks were good. The patio offers a really amazing view. What we didn’t appreciate was that our waitress tried to pressure us into ordering more food. First she tried to get us to order appetizers which we declined. After dinner, she asked about desserts and we declined. She kept asking and was quite pushy which we didn’t appreciate. That spoiled our experience because we just wanted to enjoy a relaxing evening.

Good spot on the main st of Harrison Hot Springs.
They had a roasted tomato sauce that was used with the appetizer egg plant and the cioppino. Too heavy for the seafood. Also, seafood was quite overcooked. Eggplant could have used more cooking.
Rack of lamb was fine. Bread was good. Drinks were fine. We didn't have dessert. It was our first time. The ambience, music and servers were great.

My fiancée is French and a great cook and he was also impressed by the quality of the food. He had an arctic char and I had a duck confit and duck breast - better than the one I had in France. The lychee raspberry martini was fabulous! One of the things I want to go back to Harrison Springs for ! Not to mention they are farm to table - congratulations to the chef and Steward for the superb service! Cheers Liv and Florent

My fiancée and I ate at Morgan's during the April long weekend. Even though they were busy, the tiny restaurants was able to accommodate us quickly. We had the Mussel to start, with the Rack of Lamb special and Rib on the Bone. Followed by Lemon cheescake and we had some cockatils and red wine for good measure. Everything we ate and drank was perfect. The meat was beautiful cooked slide off the bone. The wine was delicious and the cheesecake a light finish. Highly recommend, we'll go back.

My husband and I were walking along the lakefront street (Esplanade) in Harrison and decided to stop in somewhere for a bite to eat. As we approached Morgan's Bistro, we noticed they had a lovely deck from where we could people watch so we went in.
We ordered one order of fish tacos to split between the two of us. Lucky thing too because, not only were they the best fish tacos we ever had, but they were huge. The fries that came with it were fresh and perfect. I ordered a drink called the Harrison Oasis and it was so refreshing. Note: Make sure Stewart makes it.
We loved it so much that we reserved their last dinner seating and I had the Rack of Lamb and my husband had the Short Ribs. Both were amazing. You must eat here.

A-MAZ-ING!! Food was soooo good, service was great, atmosphere was perfect.
The best Caesar Salad I’ve ever had, and their Porterhouse does not compare to the high-end steak houses in Vancouver.
We will definitely be back, and recommend to all our friends and family.

We recently had dinner at Morgan's Bistro.
Nice ambiance, good service, excellent food and generous portions.
It gets busy so reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.
Nice wine list of BC wines but a bit on the pricey side.
My husband had the Spaghetti & Meatballs; a very generous portion. I had the Cioppino; again a very generous serving and delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine rather than individual glasses and were able to cork what was left & take it home.
A very enjoyable evening to mark a special occasion.

The service was the best I received in years. The mussels are a must have; the tomato bisque was to die for. Not only were the chicken dish and the halibut special delicious but the presentation on point and vegetables variety fantastic. The wine recommendation with the halibut was on par. Make sure to save room for dessert. We selected the lemon cheesecake and crème brûlée. Yummy!
