Cordo is derived from the geographical word Cordillera; the parallel mountain ranges together with intervening plateaus. Cordo looks to celebrate our unique and beautiful region and the bounty it offers through fresh ingredients from local farmers and ranchers. Our kitchen is dedicated to creating an unforgettable dining experience with the freshest ingredients and detailed execution of the Executive Chef’s vision. The Bar Program at Cordo is an experience of BC. A wide selection of BC Liquors is the foundation for creating our signature cocktails using fresh juice from BC fruit and vegetables accented by herbs from our in-house herb garden. Great Dinner for 8

The 8 of us were served dinner in the private room and the food and service level was excellent. We had a four course set menu and the chef took the time to explain the great food. The service level was outstanding and very personal.

Fabulous night, great service

Had the pleasure of dining at Cordo recently. Tried several dishes off their feature sheet. The Scotch egg, wrapped in chorizo sausage, and served with a curry mayo was fabulous. We also tried the oysters, served with a classic mignonette and horseradish, delicious. The seared halibut with clams in cioppino broth was excellent, very flavorful. Tried the smoked boulevardier as a pre-dinner drink, impressively served and very good. If you like an old fashioned, this is a must try! Shared the chocolate charcutiere board for dessert, a big hit, especially the chocolate log (“salami”). Great idea for Valentine’s Day or romantic dinner. They have a good selection of wines from BC and some hard to find ones like Fairview Cellars merlot M2 which was perfect with desert. I wanted to share the feature sheet with friends but was not able to find it on Cordo webpage and Facebook site

Had a chance to visit Cordo for Fathers day Dinner and I was very pleased . Fresh oysters came with Raspberry vinegarette dressing and horseradish condiments, so good we had to order another serving. Pork belly ,It was tasty and a good size for a starter. Lingcod. The fish was good and came with fries and coleslaw, but it would be better if it has the option to have rissoto , or a pasta instead of fries. Over all experience was delightful and every item was a good pair for my Vodka Martini!😁

There was something in the food which made all three of us have diarrhoea next morning though we had no other food outside apart from here. And being on our way to Jasper it became extremely inconvenient. We had dinner ordered trout, chicken pasta and a burger . Unfortunately none of the dishes were even passable. The vegetables with the trout were dry and just a bit of rice hidden under a piece of trout . The fries with the burger were lukewarm and the buns were soaked in oil . The less said about the pasta the better. Ended up paying almost $80/- for a terrible meal.

Hello DrSeemaTyagi, Thank you for your recent review. We try to improve our level of service & food with reviews like this. So Thank you for being honest. It looks like there was some misses with the food and I truly apologize for that. I hope we were able to service recovery that evening. As far as something in the food, not really sure what to make of that, but we have had no issues from that evening so if you and or your travelling "pod" have been felling unwell I would highly recommend to self isolate and monitor your condition. But you being a Doctor, I'm sure you'll know the best course of action you should take. Oysters and drinks can't go wrong!

We recently came here with some friends from out of town. They enjoyed the Oyster night and the signature cocktails. Our server was attentive and very helpful with the menu. Food came out very quickly and cocktails were made and topped up regularly. We couldn't have asked for better service all night. The restaurant was busy but appropriately spaced due to COVID-19 protocols. The staff all wore face masks or face shields and we felt very safe to eat here. Couldn't have asked for a better night out with friends.

Best apres-work spot

Convenient downtown location to walk to after work, with clients for a cocktail. The appy selection is delicious and unique, I always try something new when I'm here. I've had Laurel as a bartender most times I've been here, she always remembers my name and is attentive and fast, without being invasive. Can't wait to try brunch!

My wife and I went to Cordo for the first time after being in Kamloops for 3 years and wish we went sooner. Service - great Food - delicious Ingredients - locally sourced in support of the B.C. economy. The waitress was very considerate, asked us what we were celebrating, and was very accommodating to us. Our new favourite spot. Highly recommended!

Best restaurant in Kamloops!

Best fine dining in Kamloops? My official favorite is Cordo Resto + Bar in the Deltas by Marriott hotel lobby hands down! The vibe was very inviting, the staff were extremely catering to our requests, and the bartender has some too notch creativity. This is definitely a spot worth checking out on your visit to Kamloops. They have the most delicious and creative craft cocktails mixed up by Mixer Maddy – such flavourful concontions using a ton of local fresh ingredients and local spirits. I highly suggest trying the Strawberry Fields made with strawberry gin and rhubarb liqueur, so delicious! Also tried the Flamingo in the Desert and the Tequila Mockingbird. I love trying cocktails that I know are hard to make at home, and all of the cocktails on the menu were with ingredients I don’t generally have on hand so was super excited to try all their delicious creations! They also have a really great lineup of local wine from all over the Okanagan, cider from their locals up at Woodward’s, local beers to choose from, and obviously a ton of local spirits with a massive list of Gin’s to choose from including some of my favs from their local Kamloops distillery Gin Lane Co. I would suggest trying the craft gin flight if your a fan, paired with a bottle of tonic from my fav local tonic supplier, Barker & Quin from Williams Lake who I’ve actually worked with in the past – loveeee their Marula! For dinner I had the Campanelle pasta which is hand made pasta from their locals at Sorriso’s which is a well known authentic Italian restaurant and Deli in Kamloops. Love how much they support their locals! This pasta was sooo mouth watering, made with basil, garlic, sun dried tomatoes, brandy, and I added some grilled prawns and wow… it was out of this world, probably one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in my life! My partner had the Steakhouse burger and it was hard only taking one bite when he offered a bite… with that double stack of fresh chuck & brisket, bacon jam and smoked cheddar on a brioche bun. Yes please, drooling already! Definitely ate all those fries too! There are so many other dishes I have to try on the menu like the Seoul Beef Bao, Pan-Fried Gnocchi, Smoked Trout Salad and the Gathering Board. Excited to try them out for Breakfast too and get the Banana French Toast, yum! They even have a Patio Hour, yessss, I’ll be back for that for sure! Their menu is innovative and really showcases the region and the ingredients they have to offer. You’ll see tons of fresh produce, meat and fish used in their dishes, and a little something for everyone on the menu.

Shared two appies, the smoked hocks and crispy rice cakes (think pulled pork with crispy risotto cakes, yum) and the pan con tomate (whipped lemon ricotta with roasted tomatoes and crusty bread). If you aren’t salivating now, you should be! Both were absolutely delicious and especially nice for summer. My wife had the prawn primavera which she said was fabulous, and I had the campanelle pasta which was also really good. Service was top notch in spite of being very busy, our server was very attentive and provided great information and suggestions on food and bevies. Atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

Amazing Service

I was very impressed that my parents made a reservation at this restaurant for Canada Day. The breakfast menu had many options to choose from, as well as an assortment of Starbucks coffee drinks which was unexpected and impressed all of us. Jenna was an absolute delight today. I have never seen a more efficient waitress after owning a restaurant for many years, I have to say I was very impressed with her positive attitude and ability to handle volume. She was prompt, friendly, and made some recommendations that accommodated some dietary restrictions that were quite complicated. Overall we were thoroughly impressed by the service, ambiance and their food. It was elegant and well executed. I highly recommend anyone visiting Kamloops to at least dine here for one of their meals.

Worst service

We reserved a private dining room for 9 adults and 3 children. First $700 bill could only be split in 2. There were 3 families. We cleared our own table; removing our dinner dishes. The children ordered dessert we were not offered after coffee or tea. Our water ran out, we gave up asking for it. One guest could not get a glass of wine, she finally gave up and cancelled it. While we were sympathetic to the inexperienced server, she was easily flustered and blamed us for arriving at different times. She said we moved seats which was inaccurate. We were very disappointed with the service.

Nice meals

Hadn't realized when we made the reservation that Cordo was part of the Delta Hotel. I wouldn't call it fine dining, but it's likely high end for the area. The dining area is large, open and quite plain. The service was attentive. We ordered a bottle of prosecco to share and the server wasn't able to find four flutes that matched, so one of our party had to drink from a mini-glass. We had four different entrees and everyone liked their meals - not "best we've ever eaten" like some of the other reviews here, but perfectly enjoyable. Would come back, but would also try other options in the area.

First and last!

An off night? Our first visit to Cordo & we were looking forward to a fine meal based on the reviews online. Lovely interior. We were seated quickly. They seemed short staffed tonight - the hostess was also bringing out the amuse bouche. Our waiter seemed inexperienced. He neglected to tell us about the special Father's day cocktail & also told us that the Father's day special dinner did not include dessert which was wrong (heard the waiter at the next table after we had placed our order). I ordered the Seafood Matelote ($42) which was described as having BC spot prawns, scallops, sole & mussels, potatoes, onions & mushroom caps in a cream, white wine sauce with grilled focaccia. Spouse ordered the halibut with herb & spinach puree, local chard & seasonal veggies ($49). I had 2 tiny prawns, 2 scallops & 5 mussels & no sole that I could determine, all drowning in too much sauce (dish looked more like a fish stew). The halibut looked lovely but it was extremely dry. The veggies were plated beautifully & were done nicely. We let the waiter know of the issues with our dishes, he offered to have them remade but since he had not checked on us until we were about halfway through, we refused. A manager also came over & offered same. They did take 25% off our bill & offered us 15% discount on a future visit but we leave Kamloops tomorrow so will not be able to see if another night the food is better. Very disappointing.

Fabulous Valentine's Day Dinner

This past weekend we joined some friends to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Cordo. We started our meal with the Panzanella salad and treated ourselves to the seafood platter for two, all fantastic! There were also some special valentines day beverages to choose from. Servers were great and always efficient, happy and polite, thank you Shannon! Our bill was served with miniature chocolate dipped shortbread heart cookies from local Brynn’s bakery, so good and a great way to finish our valentines experience. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cordo to anyone looking for somewhere fabulous to eat. The staff truly cares about your dining experience. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant.

Top Notch!

Best restaurant experience we’ve had in a long time! Service is top notch. The manager scurries around delivering dishes and checking all patrons are happy. The food is DELICIOUS and portions VERY generous! So much flavour and beautiful presentation. We were fortunate enough to experience the Prime Rib special offered Saturday nights. The prime rib filled the entire plate! We both agreed it was the best we’ve had and the Yorkshire Pudding exceptional. Another evening we had the Fish n Chips (different & delicious) and the Bibimbap with the Sautéed Prawns, which was exceptional. Great atmosphere and perfect for date night. We can’t wait for our next visit to Kamloops just to go back.
