Wanted to have an eggy brunch but ended up here and we’re glad when we saw the jerk chicken lunch special. We both ordered this dish and we were amazed at the portion size for the price. The slow cooked jerk chicken was so flavourful and the rice and beans side was amazing. No wonder the restaurant was full with people waiting at the door. Great service and happy busy staff were very pleasant to all customers. A joy to visit. We will return for sure. Even had some leftover to take home and enjoy later.

I have been coming to Jamaican kitchen for years with my husband and family. The food is always delicious and comforting. The Johnny cakes are the best things ever. The staff is always friendly and smiling and would recommend to everyone looking for authentic comfort food.

Simple yet delicious. I had the $15 lunch special which included jerk chicken, curried chicken, salad and Johnny cake. For the price I can’t think of a better meal I’ve had in a long time. The jerk chicken alone was one of the best things I e ever eaten. Service was fast and friendly, the entire experience top notch.

Such a great gem! Family run restaurant!Coffee was good, breakfast was amazing and the service was spot on. I had a half order of the Jamaican Sunshine and my husband had the French toast, Island something, can't remember the exact name. We would go back for sure!

We really appreciated the variety of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Our favourite was the yummy tofu scramble with vegan bacon, Johnny cakes and crispy sweet potato. The French toast was great too as was the coffee. Nice Jamaican themed ambience on the patio. Enjoyed the reggae music. We will be back.

One of the best place to eat breakfast or lunch in Kamloops. Amazing food. Recommendations are Jamaican connection or Jamaican sunshine for breaky. jerk pork or Jamaican clubhouse for lunch!

Never disappointed, amazing flavors and great service on a busy Sunday Bruch. Really great coffee and the Johnny cakes were a treat. I haven’t been to Jamaica yet but I imagine these flavors are spot on.

Excellent breakfast at the Jamaican Kitchen. Will definitely return to try another dish. Happy atmosphere with wonderful traditional music playing in the background. Highly recommend this terrific family restaurant.

Just ate here with some work friends, the food is absolutely stellar. Everything was delicious; the spices are unbelievable! Our server was very friendly and polite. Loved the decor as well.

What a treasure we found in JK!! Great and friendly efficient staff in a beautiful “garden” like patio!! The special flower boxes were so nice along with the background music made us feel like we were away on holidays! The food was awesome, Jamaican Sunrise and omelet!!
Even the washrooms were bright and very clean!!

The worst experience ever! We waited for about 45 minute just for a Benedict!!! And when we saw they have lots of delivery, we follow up on our food, they said at least we should wait for another 15 minute as they have lots of online orders and if they don't prepare the food witinn 30 minutes, the Skip the Dishes company charge them!!! Are you kidding! Please let your customers know before taking one hour of their time!!! I'm surprised with their high rate reviews! Worst customer service! When we told them we're leaving they told us that besides our high online orders, our chef cut his hand! If your chef cut his hand, how come he can prepare the online orders but not for the customers that seating there. In general, very impolite team and lack of management and responsibilities. It's shame that you're not respecting your customers that are seating there and just taking care of your online orders as your waitress told us!!!
