It appears that this business may have changed hands recently, but that hasn't altered the quality of food here. I needed a quick dinner for myself. I ordered the two piece cod and chips plus the zucchini sticks. Every item was excellent and so was the service. This has been our go-to restaurant for many years. It is not a... More

We went to this restaurant based on a review on this website. We were disappointed - portion sizes are small, cole slaw was old and limp - tasteless. The fish was overcooked - the batter was not edible. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the waitress who was pleasant - we were advised that the portion size for the fish was... More

We love our lunches out at Cap'n Sharky's. We especially like their prawns and chips, delicious. Their chips taste like home-made. The food is always nice and hot, and the service excellent. We recommend!

Decided to use coupon book for a dinner out. We both ordered one piece of cod, fries & coleslaw. My husband had a coke and I drank water which the waitress put ice & lemon in without asking. Fabulous! Everything was a little bland. Fries were cooked right and homemade. Cod was battered & deep fried. Coleslaw had too much... More

Great little place. Fish and chips are very good. Service is always friendly and efficient. Fish is always crispy and not greasy. Chips are fresh not frozen.

I order the same thing every time - two pieces of cod and chips. The fish is so good and the chips are fresh cut. I have to admit I'm hooked. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly and cheerful. It is a convenient location near the Northills Mall. Easy to find.

used to be the best place to get fish and chips. Now the pieces of fish are so small and the amount of chips disappointing. The fish was fresh but there was to much batter and they tasted like the oil was starting to go off. the restaurant feels and looks old and dirty. The service was good but the... More

Two small pieces of halibut and a dozen fries for $21.99. Too expensive! Coleslaw was not good either.

Although the place is not classy by any means, the fish is fresh and cook perfect every time. Nothing worse than ordering pre-frozen, pre battered fish (like the other place in town, yuk). You won't get that here. Everything is cooked fresh, from the cod and halibut to the oysters and scallops. Hand cut chips as well, not packaged. The... More
