We keep going here.
The surroundings are basic but the food and surface are excellent.
The chicken garaage (twice as good as Popeyes), the ramen, the gyoza (preferably pan fried) and the okanamiyaki have become a staple for us.
Pricing is low and service is highly pleasant.

First time visit to this most enjoyable restaurant for lunch. Service was prompt and efficient. Started off with some delicious Gyozo and we both really enjoyed our Ramen. Rich broth (especially the original) with perfectly cooked noodles that were not mushy. Service is pleasant. Liked it so much we made dinner reservations for the next day.

There was long line up in the evening from time to time. Their ramen was good. Soup was not salty, one can finish the ramen with the soup without filling thirsty (this happens when there's MSG). The small items were so-so and I am sure they can do better on that. The Gyoza is supposed to be small, but they made them pretty big.

For a real Japanese restaurant it was ok, nothing special. If you are use to real Sapporo Hokkaido ramen this is just average tasting ramen. This was mainly based from Kyushu area of Japan flavor with thin noodles but the broth was a bit fatty and oily overall. Taste was ok overall for a common meal. Kareage was probably the best item but full tasting batter. Feeling of the restaurant was a bit too casual with not much of warm hospitality and helpfulness from the staff. All staff were nice enough to take your order but I did not see them really try for better service.

Went with friends for a casual dinner out. The atmosphere is very casual, and the noodles were freshly made. The special ramen and appetizers we had were very good, and the prices cheap.
Definitely a good value proposition. The ramen was not as good as I have had in Japan...but this is Kelowna.
Will go back and try again sometime.

Got lost finding this place. It's in a very non-descript street and location - almost looks like a garage. It's not a very big restaurant and it was 3/4 full when we arrived. We were greeted immediately and sat at a table at the end of the restaurant.
We ordered Chicken Karaage and Gyoza to start. The karaage was excellent. My wife who doesn't usually like fried stuff thoroughly enjoyed it. They also have a spicy version which I think I will try next time. The Gyoza was a bit meh.
For ramen we ordered 2 Original's and 1 Tan Tan Men. The Tan Tan Men was excellent - broth was flavourful and enough spiciness that you get a kick but without overpowering everything overall. The Original wasn't that good - broth wasn't as flavourful. The noodles also were the straight thin kind which is not our favourite. We also had 1 order of extra noodle on the side which was quite a good portion.
Service was good and washroom's were clean. For one of the top Ramen places in Kelowna we were underwhelmed.

First time visiting. Amazing ramen, even better than the best ramen places in Vancouver. Comfort food at it’s best. Can’t wait to go back.

Super disappointed. This place USED to be the best ramen. New ownership or something, they changed the noodles and now they are like spaghetti (super thin) and you get way too much noodle and too little soup.
Still good, but not so good. I can't tell if I dont like the new style at all or if it's just a downgrade from their previous glory.

This ramen spot is exceptional. It looks a bit scary from the outside, but don’t let looks deceive you. The inside is warm and friendly, with excellent service. The Tan Tan Men is so good I can’t stop ordering it. They don’t answer phones, but are happy to prepare some ramen for you to go. They’ll also make less spicy versions for the kids.
Prepare to get hooked.

We eat here at least once or twice a month. The Okonomiyaki and Death by Chicken Karaage are both amazing appies, and I have tried almost all the different ramen bowls and they are all delicious and very different. The noodles have a great texture and they have new specials every month. A must-try in Kelowna, with something for everyone!

Visited on one of those HOT days in Kelowna. Despite the air-conditioning seemed insufficient, the noodle was pristine - not the usual instant noodle texture. The miso broth had an impressive depth of flavours. Really raised the bar!

This is a real find if you are into Ramen or simple Japanese cooking. I opted for the Chicken Karaage and Gyozas to start with. All dishes were excellent and tasty. Nice and friendly staff make for a lovely evening out. Not a large restaurant so you may need to book. Bar style seating also available and they do take away. Very good value for the quality of food.
Japanese beer available as well and reasonably priced.
Recommend when next in Kelowna.

We visited this restaurant for the first time in 2017, and I was impressed, so this time we decided to return. I ordered the Chicken Karaage Ramen and found the broth delicious, the noodles firm, and the chicken juicy, tender, and flavourful. Wasabi Izakaya is now our go-to place for ramen whenever we're in Kelowna!

The ramens are really good here! We had lunch there and the place was packed. Lucky someone just left when we arrived so we just had to wait for them to clear that table.
