As with all C-Lovers restaurants, the fish and chips are amazing. Crispy batter on the fish and perfectly fried chips. On this visit we ordered the supreme platter complete with halibut fingers, prawns, onion rings and French fries. Plenty of food for two served hot and fresh. Complimented with an order of mushy peas it made for a great dinner. The service here was first rate and we got our order delivered to the table in short order. If you are looking for top notch fish and chips served hot, fresh and fast then this is the place to visiting when you are in Kelowna.

Really great fish and chips!

Really delicious!! The fish tastes fresh with a nice light batter. The coleslaw is amazing! The mushy peas are excellent! My husband and I love fish n chips and try them wherever we travel. This was as good if not better than the fish n chips we had in the UK.

Great value for all you can eat fish n chips!

Been wanting to come here for awhile. When the family came on Saturday for dinner it did not disappoint. It was quite busy but we were able to get a table right away. Our server was super friendly and nice. After looking through the menu we decided to get the all you can eat. It was really good. Batter was just right - not greasy. And the fish was flakey. Fries had the right amount of crisp and were not soggy. We also ordered large coleslaw and mushy peas to share. Coleslaw was normal but the mushy peas were great. My daughter who has never had that really liked it and so we have a convert! Our server came by a few times asking if we wanted more fish before we were finished our current plate which is great so no waiting. The tartar sauce was so good that I used up the whole bottle! We had a great meal and will be back next time we are through Kelowna.

what happened to the batter

had 2 halibut platters, the change on the halibut they may as well have kept it. the fish was only as thick as a tine on the fork, so therefore no taste. for seventy five dollars with tip not a deal and sours experience. this meal was had in Vernon

The fries were great! They were able to tell me the exact ingredients in my meal so I could stay away from allergens, which I greatly appreciated! The fish didn't quite meet the standard I expected when their sign said "the best fish & chips in town".

False advertising/rude rude rude

Advertises all you can eat fish and chips but watched staff rudely approach a patron and tell him "seniors were waiting for a table", implying he should leave when he was clearly wanting to finish his all you can eat experience. If you advertise "all you can eat" and then you don't follow through, that is false advertising. I think you really owed this man an apology and should take a look at updating how you advertise if you are not prepared to hold your word as a business.

Average quality Fish and chips at a reasonable price in Kelowna

Fish and chips at a reasonable price in Kelowna. Located in a strip mall area with free parking. Sufficient Table service. Their unlimited fish and chips offer at $16 is very good price wise but the Pollock fish that comes with it tastes bland and of very average quality. We separately ordered Halibut fish that comes with chips and coleslaw. The halibut was better in taste than the Pollock. We also ordered a bun with butter as a side for $1.19. Overall, the food was fresh, price-wise very good but bland and of average quality.

Not the restaurant it used to be

Have been visiting C-lovers, Kelowna, for years but something has changed. The Haddock seemed of lower quality, a bit mushy. The fish had an oily taste and the staff are all different. Having visited twice in the last two weeks with similar results I had to comment. Hate to lose one of our favorite restaurants but the present quality and service quality does not warrant a return visit. Waitress actually dropped a load of dishes on to my guested drink breaking the glass and spilling over my guest and the table. Not even a sorry much less a discount.

We had an excellent fish & chip supper at C Lovers. The Ultimate Platter was great in both taste and value. The service is swift and friendly and accurate and udging by the line-ups on Fridays many other people feel the same way. It's simply the best fish & chips in town!

Enjoyable Fish and Chips just off the 97

As my wife was Winners shopping (a couple of blocks over, I searched for a family restaurant close by that had a unique food experience (tired of burgers, pizza, and bar food).It was a good indicator that we made an excellent choice as the place does a large takeout business, We enjoyed the friendly service. The clients inside mostly fit the category power. Just as we were leaving a young family cam in for food My wife had the smaller appetite halibut dinner with a glass of chardonnay and I couldn't resist the all you can eat fish and chips with a sleeve of beer. we decided to share a small bowl of the homestyle C-food chowder (two spoons) It was very tasty. However, it did limit my fish ingestion as I could only eat the 5 pieces of fried pacific pollock that were loaded on my plate. The server did come over and ask if I wanted more fish.

Good fish and chips

We stopped in here while in Kelowna and enjoyed the food. The COVID measures in place are good and they have the booths protected with clear shower curtains. We felt safe eating here. The servers work incredibly hard and are so nice. We enjoyed eating here. A bit pricy but not too bad as the quality is good. A word of caution, this place gets very busy around dinner time so go early to avoid a long wait.

Disappointing

We were so looking forward to some great fish & chips but were disappointed. Did a take out order and you would think they would have included salt, pepper, lemon but none of those items were in the bag. We had to pay extra for a small container of tartar sauce. The fish itself was nice but lacked that nice flavour without salt & lemon.

My husband and I tried this restaurant because it was right by our hotel. It was awesome. The food was hot and oh so tasty. There was only one server but she was very good at her job. You get lots of food on your plate and the prices are not too bad. If you get a chance to try this restaurant, you have to do it.

It had been many years since I was in Kelowna and I could not get fish & chips out of my mind. I found this nifty little spot on Tripadvisor and I was glad I stopped in. I had a paper to get through and while I did not avail myself of the all you can eat option, many around me did. I was fascinated by how attentive my server was to all of the seniors that were obviously there for the never ending portions and something about that just made me happy. The chips were not double fried and the tartar sauce seemed average but these were minor issues. I left very satisfied!
