My friends and I were all craving sushi so we went to this place and it did not disappoint! For just under $30 we got the Sashimi Dinner Combo and it was honestly worth what we paid for. You get miso soup, and sunomono salad, which were both extremely refreshing to start off with. Then we got 4 pieces of tempura(shrimp and veggies), after that we had our sashimi. The service was great and the place looked amazing and clean as well. Stop by here if you’re craving sushi in Kelowna!

Not only does this restaurant have the tastiest, freshest, most delicious sushi around, but their service and timing is unbelievable! I went with my son first in a bit of a rush and we ordered, had amazing sushi, and left in less than half an hour. So we took some friends the next day (in town for hockey), same thing, great sushi, great service, great timing!! I can't recommend this place enough!

Came here for dinner on Saturday night with the family. It was busy but there were still a few tables available. They greeted us right away and we were seated promptly at a booth.
We ordered the viking boat for 3 and some green tea. The boat was huge. The boat came with miso and sunomo. Both excellent. Then next course was gyoza, assorted tempura, and tuna karage. All were tasty. I never had tuna karage. I really liked it! Next came the sushi, sashimi, and rolls. Sashimi was a good size. Rolls and sushi were tiny. After this, we were too stuffed for the last course of beef and chicken terryiaki so had to pack it to go.
Decor was modern and staff were friendly. Washrooms were clean. Great first meal in Kelowna!

Worst ever. ordered $ 125 worth of sushi and they forgot one bag which was the kids meals. It was not the skip the dishes drivers fault. Called to alert them and they told me to call skip the dishes and they would issue a “credit”. In the real world they would have brought the bag out and apologized. So good bye $1000 a year I spend there and we will scramble to feed 4 kids. Real customers require Solutions- not a lack of responsibility . Ridiculous. I guess they think we are tourist and they can take advantage.

We came for dinner and ended up with takeout as didn’t want to wait. It was raining outside and no room to wait inside. Interior is really nice, cozy lighting with mostly booths. The family had sushi and gyozas which they loved. I don’t eat fish so had the beef teriyaki $14. Although cooked perfectly, the beef was nice and tender, I was disappointed with my meal. I found it to be quite a small serving, and only 3 slices of beef, it came with the small bowl of rice and was served over I cooked cabbage($) I think. I did not find it had a lot of flavour and could not distinguish any teriyaki at all. So though was cooked very well but overall it was just “fine” and I was still hungry. More of a side than an entree. The family wants to go back but if it is just me I won’t. To me portions were small for the price.

Stopped in here for lunch. The service was excellent and the meal delicious. There are lots of options to choose from. Sanitizer greets you at the door, good traffic flow and table spacing are set up, and the seating is comfortably distanced from other diners. It was a very pleasant meal. We saw the thorough cleaning given to the tables as well.

We are visiting Kelowna and staying close by. We ordered take out and we walked to the restaurant from our accommodations only to find out they had given our order to someone else. Usually this wouldn't matter. But we walked with our young child in their stroller and our two dogs. We had to wait outside while they re made our order surrounded by homeless people.

We have been repeat customers after our friends introduced us to this hidden gem. The service is very good and the food is inexpensive and great. The tuna Karage and the chicken yakisoba ha.ve been our go to. They have a wide range of sushi rolls and other great choices for everyone.

We decided to take out after a 5 hour drive to Kelowna. Our order was fairly quick and the food was tasty. But it would have been nice to be offered a table and green tea while waiting. It was not busy. Instead we were told to go sit on a cold uncomfortable bench with an electric fireplace 2 feet in front of us (not turned on).

I had an amazing time dining here at Bluetail Sushi. This is the best sushi in town. The sashimi is amazing and the rolls are delicious. The prawn tempuras are unreal too. Definitely would recommend checking this spot out.

We love this restaurant! They’re quick, friendly and the food is delicious. We enjoyed the Unagi Dragon, the Red Mtn and the Godfather rolls! Our 2 year old loved the Ebi Sunomono and the Tempura! This place is always at the top of our list when visiting Kelowna
