I think part of the experience of visiting the Crow & Gate has to be the journey to get there. Not being very familiar with the area, I find that it seems to be a lengthy journey down some rural roads, past picturesque farms until...More

Great food and drink. The atmosphere is magical in the winter with two roaring fires. Be patient as it very popular and you may have to wait for a table. Well worth your trouble.

Typical English style pub with ok food. Good choice of English beer and food. Quite busy at lunch time and you need to stand in line to order food and pay at the same time. Service could be slow at times.

We were having a treat at the Old Town Bakery in Ladysmith and found out from a couple of locals about the Crow and Gate. We drove there in the dark by following GPS and found the place seemingly out in the middle of nowhere....More

Love visiting this place. It is modeled after an old country pub in Sussex UK. Very authentic and charming!

It is adult only and I do believe it is walker friendly.. The parking lot is level and the entrance to the pub is along an attractive pathway which is level.

I believe there is a side door with a ramp as I have seen wheelchairs in the restaurant.
