Every time I go to Crow and Gate the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is great. I would suggest not going there if you're in a hurry though as service can be quite slow. It is for sure worth the wait!

If you like classic English pub food you'll like this restaurant. Treat yourself to a ploughman's lunch and a great beer.

I had heard really good reviews from a few people about this restaurant so on a recent road trip up island, I suggested to my boyfriend that we stop for lunch. It is a bit of a drive off the main highway and we made...More

We arrived on Island around noon; on a cool and drizzly day. After a short drive from the airport we arrived at the Crow & Gate for lunch. The grounds looked beautiful, but because of the rain showers we didn't look around. We arrived just...More

Stopped at the Crow & Gate on our way to Salt Spring - great relaxing place to have a bite. Sat outside in the garden and enjoyed a well poured pint of Guinness with my stilton and leek quiche. Plowman's lunch also a hit with...More

I am not sure what I can say about the Crow and Gate pub that has not already been said. It is a very attractive particularly in mid summer when the garden is in bloom. She said we had – ride or stirrers and potato...More

Okay food, good beer, even better pie - but the flowers steal the show. Go for a pleasant meal and spend a couple of hours in this fairy-tale version of a country pub.

Quaint little oldschool pub. Awesome Brittish beers on tap, poured correctly and classic pub fare as well.

We've been coming here 1-2 times a year for the last 10+ years. We always love this place. The food is good, but not stellar. What's so wonderful about this pub is the atmosphere - the walkway leading to the pub, the building itself, the...More

This is a recreation of a the archetypical English pub, that "out Englishes" any pub in England. Consistently good, with a great scotch list and interesting beers and ciders on tap. Great outdoor patio for the summer. Great atmosphere and a fireplace that really cozifies...More

In English pubs you have to go to the bar to get drinks & order food, they are trying to replicate this & are doing a very good job, something a bit different for people that have not visited England. Our pub food has improved over the years & is probably still the most popular as don't pay silly restaurant prices, also pub staff don't expect tips !!

I am afraid I don't see the question! All I see is a statement.
