Cold and wintry nights call for a beautiful Polish remedy… homemade, from scratch and authentic cuisine. Coming from the Baltic seaside town of Gdańsk Walter and Alicja bring a lovely piece of Poland to the stunning Okanagan. Polish Bistro is charming, inviting and a foodie...heaven! Featuring savoury borscht, artisanal sausage, handmade pierogies and cabbage rolls and crispy schnitzel- it reminds me of some of the best places in Toronto, NYC and my European travels. Schnitzel tops any Germanic restaurants I’ve been to (Post Hotel, Waldhaus, Bavarian Inn, Old Baurenhaus) 🏆🍽🍺🥟🧆 🇵🇱More

The service was excellent and the meal was even better. I had the schnitzel and perogies and they were both great. Do yourself a favour and get the mushroom sauce.

Absolutely delicious, authentic home-style food, just like Babcia used to make. The cabbage rolls were a particular favourite.

The perogies were delish, I could have eaten so many! We liked the different flavour options for the perogies. The schnitzel, cabbage rolls, and meatballs were great too. The only down side was it seemed a bit pricey.

This is a family owned and run restaurant. Great polish style cuisine made and cooked in-house. It is an amazing success story of a couple who decided to make a career out of great food and great service. The restaurant does not have many tables...and the decor may suggest less than it is but the food and service makes up for the simplicity of the decorationMore

This is my first ever review of a restaurant and I have travelled a bit and dined out alot! The three of us covered most things on the menu and everything was outstanding! As soon as we walked through the door we were hit with...the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen and greeted warmly by a gentleman who we assumed was the owner(Walter?). Really feels like a family run restaurant with the recipes perfected over the generations. We are visitors to Penticton but will be sure to return here EVERY chance we are in the area! Keep up the great job!!More

A wonderful experience. Authentic home made polish fare - the food experience was top notch, great polish beer and an excellent selection of local wine. Service was awesome. We invited the owner to move his establishment to Vancouver Island - we will be back to...try to convince him again on our next trip up!More

My friends and I ate here last night and I can truthfully say it was the most homey, deliciously prepared meal I’ve had in a long time. We were graciously welcomed by Walter, the owner, and given a table by the window. His lovely Polish...accent reminded me so much of my Polish grandfather that I just wanted to give him a hug and invite him to sit and eat with us. You could see how proud he was of his establishment and the food he was serving. And the food! I had the Polish sausage (2 of them and I could only eat one, I was so full) and 5 perogies. The perogie were beautifully tender with a delicious cheddar-potato filling, topped with caramelized onions and butter on top and of course it came with a side of sour cream. My husband had the meat platter and loved every single bite. Our friends had the schnitzel with mushroom gravy and cabbage rolls. Everything was perfectly prepared. Finally, we shared a plate of blueberry perogies. Thank you, Walter for making us feel both at home and like important guests at the same time! If you love authentic Polish food, give thisrestaurant a try and tell Walter that Becky with the Polish Dombrowski grandparents said hi and that I sent you!More
