We had a great breakfast . Pros , food was great, staff was friendly, and just up from the beach. Cons , eggs Benny specials only available on the weekend. Little pricey but good.

Was here for breakfast 2 times enjoyed it great service we did not have to wait long so nice out we sat outside. My 1st time here.

I've stopped at the Bench market multiple times and it's always been a reliable restaurant. The takeout is just as good as eating in. The sandwiches are well crafted with multiple options available. The space inside is trendy and have many homegood/kitchen essentials. A great...place to stop.More

Arriving feels like being herded like cattle at the auction. It’s an unnecessary way to operate. This has always been one of my favorite brunch spots, but it’s sadly not up to it’s 5star rating anymore. My smoked salmon Benny had the tiniest little strip...of salmon on it, the side chunks of yam and potatoes were crunchy and not even fully cooked, and the “English muffin” was soggy and more like dense bread shaped liked an English muffin but without the taste and structure of an English muffin. Kinda gross and so disappointing knowing how good this breakfast used to be. Not at all worth the mega price increase to $22 for breakfast. I would have returned it, but I didn’t want to stand in line again. No one comes around to see how your food is. They are too busy herding cattle. Washrooms were dirty and freezing cold water to wash your hands. I would have given it 1star, but the delicious coffee was the one and only redeeming factor of my unpleasant experience.More

Breakfast. The space? 5/5. Very nice little quirky place. Feels comfortable and a little bit of a cool vibe to keep you interested. Shelves of trendy jams and peanut butter. That kind of thing. Cappuccino? Also 5/5. Huge bowl even for a small. Tasty. No...bitterness. Perfect really. Breakfast food? The only downfall. Eggs just fine. Toast good. But the bacon? Two small strips of flat mostly cold tasteless meat. It surprised me really because the rest of the experience prepared me for much better. And I wanted it to be better. Alas, it was not. And when you order bacon and eggs, and the bacon is this tasteless, well, that’s 50% of the bacon and eggs dish. So it does kinda matter. Overall I’d go back for sure to give it another try on the assumption that this was a one-off thing. And the whole experience was very nice in a Granville Island downtown Vancouver kinda way. But if the bacon was like that again - I’d skip it. Vibe or not, it’s a simple breakfast dish and it should be done right.More

Went for brunch on Saturday. It was super busy but they were very well organized and one of the servers did a fantastic job of greeting people and keeping them informed of any wait times and the process. Coffee was excellent, as was the eggs...benny! My hubby has the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed that too! We’ll be back for sure!More

First time there - busy place. I like to order at the table not have to work my way through crowds and read a board that was difficult for me to read particularly when the food is so pricey and only average. Half the price...at fast food restaurants for comparable breakfast!More

The best breakfast around. The owner/host is excellent, likes to socialize and staff are fantastic. Not to be missed but go before 9am or it's very busy. On weekdays, the breakfast is a bit limited - no eggs Benedict or poached eggs which are only...on the weekend menu. the food is a bit pricy. For 2 people and 2 latte's, it was just over $65 plus tip, we're into $75. But it is local cuisine and very good.More

We were exploring the area for wineries and decided to visit Penticton where we found this. Got a table outside on a sunny day and ordered late brunch. We got a perfectly fine meal, coffee and service. Happily went on our way exploring the town.

Quite disappointing. We had been here before for breakfast and just loved the selection and the original food choices. Today there were only 2 choices, the good food, like the bennies,are only available on the weekends. Fruit was mostly apples and melons. The coffee was...good. Beautiful setting.More

The food was delicious; but there was a rude waitress who did not hide her temper nor treat us fairly or with professionalism. She was having a bad day, and took it out on us despite our efforts to show her kindness and patience. The...rest of the staff were good. It was just that one waitress who ruined the whole experience. I don’t think I will be coming back, nor will be suggesting this place to my friends in the future. I will take my business elsewhere. There are delicious places that serve good food with professional staff that do not discriminate.More

Breakfasts were a real pleasure. We visited twice over our stay. Food was fresh and high quality ingredients. We also enjoyed their sandwiches on two of our wine tours, also excellent. Service was quick and friendly and the menu varied enough to enjoy more than...once. Dine in and take out available. We would happily eat there again if we lived in or near Penticton!More
