Recently my wife and I became curious about Korean food, especially bibimbap. We picked up two orders from Sim’s for our lunch. It was delicious! Now, because it was, “take-out,” it was served in styrofoam, not granite and the rice was not crispy and the...egg was scrambled, not fried. Still the food was all fresh and flavourful.More
We stopped here for lunch as we were driving through Prince George. The bulgogi here is really yummy! My daughter always refuses to try it when we are at home but fell in love with bulgogi here. It's a simple menu with just a few...items, but enough to get my fix for Korean food! It's a small place and most people buy takeout since it's located in an industrial area.More
I've been to Korea for work five times. Sim's Lunch Box is authentic. The people are delightful. Even the way the waitress dressed reminded me of everyday, unpretentious Koreans I met and still know. It is only open for lunch, thus the name. It is...out of the way toward the industrial area of downtown. We should all eat there and ensure their success!
OK, now I'm wondering if my review will sound fake since it is so laudatory. This is a real review! Read my other reviews. I write what is the truth, good or bad. Eat at Sim's.More
Authentic, very tasty, homestyle Korean lunch food marks Sim's Lunchbox, located in a non-descript light industrial area of downtown Prince George, BC. The owners are a husband and wife duo serving Korean staples like bulgogi, bibimbap and Korean-style curry and rice as a non-exclusive listing....If you stay for lunch, you meal will be served in traditional Bento-style boxes. The food is wonderfully tasty and served in very generous portions - there is enough for two meals for those with small appetite, making it an excellent value for the price. The only downsides are a small dine-in area and limited hours - 11 AM - 3 PM Monday thru Friday.More
I just recently discovered this little gem.. I have been three times this week. I had the Bulgogi beef. hubby had the Bipimbap hot pot.. we had ours served with a delicious green salad with an amazing house made salad dressing, but can also choose...miso soup. you can purchase both the dressing and their kimchi for approx. 5$ each. absolutely fantastic. the Korean couple that owns this are the nicest people you could ever meet.More
