By the time we rolled in for a late late supper, the dining room was closed for the evening so we were ushered into the lounge. The lounge was packed with some large parties and unfortunately a lot of loud people who felt the need to swear and compete with the sound level. We were told it was the same... More

We were staying in the hotel and leaving the next AM on the Alaska Marine Line Ferry. The reviews were good, so we decided to give Charleys Lounge a try. Monday night 7PM the place was busy but not full, most seated on the outdoor deck, but it was warm and we opted for the air conditioned inside. Our order... More

Just as wine appreciation is dependent on mood and atmosphere , so is a dinner. Sitting on the patio watching the watercraft, enjoying the warmth of a summer evening and the sea air - just close your eyes. What a setting! What an experience to share! Had dinner a Charlies - a deliciously creamy seafood chowder and a salmon starter... More

Excellent food and drink. Lots of choices and the possibility of great window seats and views if you are lucky.

Located within the Crest Hotel, overlooking the harbour, we stopped here for lunch - we both had seafood chowder - really good and tasty. Whilst not cheap the food is reasonably priced for a 4* establishment; the service that we received was excellent; the seating was comfortable with lovely views over the harbour - what's not to like!

The lounge is located at the Crest Hotel, which is one of the best (if not, the best) in town. Menu and food in the lounge are exactly the same as in the restaurant at the Crest Hotel. Lounge has a nice atmosphere, with enough cosy seats. It was quite crowded at the time we visited, which made our visit... More

Unfortunately one of the few options available. Service is typically good but can be slow. Food is way overpriced, in line with a high end vancouver restaurant but without the service or quality to back it up. Appetizers are inconsistant. Have been given raw chicken more than once. Burgers are good but are not made in house. Everything on the... More

The best lounge in the best hotel, Its a great place to relax with a meal / drink. The view and decor is high end as such is reflected in the bill- depending on what you order. The food is pretty good too, I love the burgers.

Located in The Crest Hotel, this is certainly high end lounge for northern BC. Food is the same as the Crest Restaurant which is great. Drinks and service are excellent. It can gets quite busy but there are lots of comfy seating areas, many large screen tvs and great views of the harbour. Can't beat the view anywhere in Rupert!... More
