It's our second time that we traveled to Tofino, and the Wildside grill, always has amazing food, it's always a treat to eat there.

We had the fish tacos, pork tacos, pulled pork poutine and seafood gumbo during our long-weekend stay. Actually, we love the food so much it’s the only place we ate dinner in Tofino! Have to try the West Coast Poutine next time as the gumbo...was so good and mix it with poutine—I’m sure it will be fabulous.More

We got take out fish and chips and chowder. Both were excellent and the portions were really big. The chowder was really thick and full of seafood. We had enough left overs for lunch the next day. It was by far the best chowder I've...ever had and I've had it in Nova Scotia, PEI and many other places. You can't go wrong getting take out from the Wildside Grill.More

This place was highly reviewed, and I was jonesing for some great fish and chips. My wife got the oysters and my daughter got the oyster burger. We also got a chowder to go. After all the hype I was expecting better than what we...ended up with. The chowder was OK but I have had better. The oysters were the best of the meal. Most disappointing for mesas the fish, I think the fish was good but the batter style (panko) really got in the way in the taste of the fish. The fries were barely adequate. They were not that busy, I would have expected an overall better effortMore

We ate there twice. All outdoor seating or you can take away. We shared an excellent burger and poutine the first time. We shared the two piece fish and poutine the second time and it was great. The service was excellent and personal. Changes like...upgrading to poutine was not a problem which I appreciated. Seating is spaced out nicely.More

Very low key lunch spot near Wickaninnish Inn. Inexpensive but terrific food. Chowder and gumbo is to die for. Eat at picnic tables nearby, no dining indoors, (which is fine during Covid times). Highly recommended!

Wildside was delicious. More a stand than a restaurant, there are a few outdoor tables. Burgers are delicious, a few variations on things; ate there twice and both times it was excellent. Burgers, fries, poutine. All very good. A great place for quick delicious food.

Came for Tacofina but as they had already closed for the evening I tried this place. The chowder was excellent so I came back 2 days later and tried the crispy cod BLT burger and it was another hit. Tacowho? I’m hooked on the Wildside...now.More

The salmon tacos here are amazing! The food is delicious and the service was fairly fast and friendly. Definitely recommend checking this place out for a meal! The poutine was really good too.

First ate here about 10 years ago and was very impressed with the fresh seafood (halibut) in the fish and chips. We had take out this time and no one was disappointed. The seafood remains fresh, well prepared and there is plenty of food in...each order. One person had grilled chicken and did find it to be a little dry but ate it anyways! The soups were phenomenol, a meal in themselves!More

I suggest you call and confirm. Their online menu doesn't seem to indicate gluten free options but call and find out. phone: 250-725-WILD (250-725-9453)
