Seafood chowder was very delicious. It looks like they started from scratch. Easy going style - a bistro/cafe, not a "real" restaurant".

This is where the locals go for fresh oysters, lively conversation and tasty beer on tap. It is small and quaint but has a bit of an upscale feel especially if you sit at the bar and watch the scene. They are closed January and February but back open in March. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place in the centre of Tofino. Great place to drink wine and eat oysters. In our case they where out of stock with the oyster of the day. Can't wait to go again.

We stopped in here for oysters unaware that there was an "issue" with the local oysters. No biggie as we had the chowder and prawns and scallops and the server/bartender was friendly and gave us some good suggestions.

We visited in mid-November 2016 and enjoyed delicious, fresh oysters shucked right before us. Definitely recommended!

No oysters! There was something going around so no oysters being harvested. We had been here before and it was great but were disappointed this time... not their fault though...

On a winter storm watching trip, we stopped for lunch at The Fish Store and Oyster Bar. The little shop has a very interesting decor and is definitely upscale. We started with a couple of oyster dishes--the El Capitan and Oysters Kilpatrick--WOW. The chef came up with dishes and they are stunningly good. Next, the Firecracker Shrimp which is just... More

You can go for the oysters or you can go for the chowder...I went for their amazing seafood chowder. Each bowl is custom made so if you have any allergies, let them know and they'll accommodate if they can. Grab a beer from the locally made Tofino Brewing Company and you're in for a treat. Seating space is limited, service... More

Simple restaurant yet perfect for oysters, chowder and west coast casual atmosphere. Great value and friendly staff, great service. Seafood chowder was extraordinary, the spicy squid dish was wonderful!

Great spot to enjoy "buck a shuck" from 4-6pm. They also offer fish for purchase to take home (to cottage) as well. Staff were very knowledgeable, helpful & friendly!
