The seafood chowder is fantastic - wish I had the recipe! The gourmet pizza was also wonderful. Excellent food.

We had seafood chowder served with baguette & French fries for a quick lunchtime snack. Fabulous food for a vacation indulgence. Unfortunately, Redcan is at your own risk in terms of Covid precautions. The very friendly server and chef were not wearing masks. We’re double...vaccinated and weren’t too worried as we kept our distance. Assume they are both vaccinated as well. Then we noticed people coming up to the counter with no mask having long conversations with the staff at a distance of two feet. Final alarm bell was when a truck with Alberta plates pulled up and the driver strode up to the counter maskless. This how Covid spreads. At this date , Covid cases and hospitalizations are still high in BC and catastrophic in Alberta. Everyone needs to be extra careful out there.More

Grabbed a quick lunch to go to eat by the water - everything was delicious! FYI the pizza is more of a traditional thicker crust (not Italian thin crust). Highly recommend!

Their pizza is fantastic! Also offer pasta specials. We had prawn fettuccini, was the best we’ve ever had. Prices are very reasonable. This will be our favorite spot in tofino.

The Shrimp Penne was delish… the cream sauce was very flavourful, the shrimps & vegetables were fresh & enough for 2 people. The Beef Brisket Sandwich was also delish… beef was tender, his secret sauce “schluck” was amazing. The wait was worth the quality &...glad we decided to try Redcan on our trip to Tofino. Thanks Tim for your talent!More

First night in town and hotel staff mentioned that many restaurants were taking a break after the high season. Did a quick search and found that indeed several spots weren't open for dinner. We decided to get a quick pizza at RedCan Gourmet to take...back to our room—they offer catering and a to-go menu. Very good flavour, though the crust was thicker than we would normally get and one person found there to be too much cornmeal, though the rest of us didn't mind it. Overall, delicious and kept really well in the fridge for easy breakfast, so we were able to head straight for the beach for an after-dinner walk!More

We tried their pizza. It was incredibly good! You choose 4 toppings from their list. We ordered a large pizza and chose calabrese, pepperoni, kalamata olives and mushroom for our toppings. The dough was super tasty and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Their sandwiches...are really good, too.More

We stopped at RedCan Gourmet not knowing what to expect...it was amazing!! Pizza is nothing like i've ever tasted. The crust is everything you didn't know you were looking for and the sauce is so alive! The beef brisket...hard to describe...melt in your mouth, best...of spicey and cheezy...oh and the fries definitely don't need ketchup. Thank you to the gentlemen at RedCan Gourmet, great service!! From your Winchester fans.More

I think that says it all. Fresh ingredients and a great crust--I usually just leave the crust, but this was sooo good. You name your four ingredients and the size and when you want to pick it up. Take out only--this is the number 1...rated restaurant in Tofino. That says it all.More

As it was noted as a top choice in Tofino, we went here as soon as we arrived. It is a take out spot, which is not noted in reviews but they have a couple of picnic tables out front. Fortunately, it was not raining,...so we ate out there. We both had subs, the bread was delicious and ingredients matched. I strongly recommend this cafe but the portions are enormous - go with a friend and shareMore
