My family moved to the area 3 years ago and although we love sushi we hadn’t found anywhere we really liked. We ordered several rolls to go. The girl who took my order was so friendly and helpful and even helped me to use the...happy hour deal that I didn’t know about. Picking up the food was easy. But the best park was the rolls! They were so amazing and fresh! Our favorites were the lemon twist, drunken shrimp and shooting star. We’ve found our new shusi place!More

Located in a blue corrugated steel shack along False Creek this place regularly serves up a variety of fried fish including cod, salmon and halibut made to order. I had a delicious 2-piece cod with fries. Each serving is accompanied by a big portion of...crispy chips with skin on, mini container of tarter sauce and a tangy coleslaw. I came at noon on a Saturday just as it opened and already 12 of us were in line waiting. During COVID-19 you cannot eat on their picnic tables but can do so at the park nearby, seawall or Granville Island.More

Visited last night. Staff were loudly joking about “jerking off into the fish” while customers were waiting for food. They repeated it about 4 times. When I picked up my order, I casually, politely let them know that their conversation was audible and not appetizing....Staff responded with “well you’re entitled to your opinion”More

Very good fresh fish & chips. We enjoyed the halibut. It’s a small take away restaurant. There’s nice park near by that’s the perfect place to sit & eat.

I’m soooo picky about fish. But this place is wonderful!!! All I can say is free a time to stop by and grab some fish and chips. No dine-in due to COVID. So, be prepared for a place to enjoy your lunch.

The fish and chip stand is located in a parking lot with nowhere to eat. The path to the seawall is blocked off so you either need to climb over the gate or walk up and around. There is grass and benches along the wall...where you can sit and eat. The fish and chips were hot and tasted great. We enjoyed both the Halibut and Cod. Prices were good for what you get. The pieces were nice and big.More

Good fish and chips but horrible service. Expect a 30-45m wait. We noticed that people served after us were receiving their orders so we simply asked politely about ours. Staff proceeded to mock us within earshot. "Oh, lad de da miss princess is waiting for...her food". Stupid little punks.More

We used to come here for the best fish and chips, it is now Saturday August 22nd 2020. Today was a completely different vibe and quality . Firstly the chips used to be so good and cooked fresh, today they were obviously old and probably...cooked a day before, The staff were not as they were before, not as friendly, its changed and my family and I were loyal customers because of the quality and customer service, but we will not be going back, its a real shame because it was excellent at one time, but those times have gone.More

This busy take out restaurant is our go to for fish and chips when we are in Vancouver and while it can be busy, the wait is well worth it. Halibut and chips with house made coleslaw hit the spot. All fresh and delicious and...worth the price.More

This place is a small shack off to the side of the commercial fisheries docks near Granville island. There was a long line up with Covid procedures. We ordered the 2 piece Cod Fish & chips and 2 Salmon Tacone. The tacone Is basically a...soft shell tortilla folded in to a cone. Maybe we should go with the Halibut instead of the cod next time. Funny thing is that we had the halibut fish and chips from white spot recently and that was better. The prices are reasonable I think. We got the food and took it to a near by park to eat. We were underwhelmed with the food. The fish was not as good as thought it could be and the tacone just didn’t do it either. The texture was soft and lacked any crunch and the juices just ran down. The food was ok but not great.More

WOW! I am surprised to hear that the service was rated as poor. I have only been three times but I live here and it's absolutely great food. It's basically a take-out wagon and they have a 45-60 minute line-up at peak times... More
