First time ever writing a review but this place deliberately ripped me off and I was completely shocked as this has never happened to me in Vancouver before. I ordered a 7.50$ wrap and a drink, gave them a 20$ bill and they hand me back 5$ and a toonie or so.. I thought they were joking until I asked... More

The Souvlaki was pretty tasty and the portion was enough for a starving person. The chicken was cooked enough; not under or over cooked. I liked the environment of the restaurant too. My wife's Felafel plate was also good and fresh. We will definitely go there again.

we were hungry - only reason we tried to eat the wrap - meat was hard and dry - veggies soggy - taste was not good, we had tummy aches after it.

I got the 7$ wrap and for some reason ended up paying 10$! Then the tip...it was way too pricey. It was a small tiny thing with no juicy anything going for it. I have had good wraps and this one was a loser. The chicken was the end of the roast and it was small and dry. The gentleman... More

Very tasty food, served fast and friendly. The chicken shawerma is really good. The meat is tender, well seasoned, and they give you a generous portion on their wraps. The pita is filled with meat and fresh veggies, along with a flavourful blend of sauces and condiments.

I've often walked by this place on Denman, and finally gave it a try at 1:30 am since everything else was pretty much closed in the West end. I orderd the lamb shawarma, which was unfortunately microwaved and was tough and dry. The sauce was on the bland side, but the veggies were fresh and crisp. There's another shawarma place... More

That is what I always say! I used to only go to another restaurant for this type of food which is a few blocks down. But one day a friend brought me a Falafel plate from Babylon and I loved it! So much one week i had it about 5 times, opps. I've laid off it a bit for now... More

On our first evening in Vancouver we decided to try a local Mid-Eastern shop that had quite a 'line out the door.' What a disappointment. I'm not sure if they were just at the end of the carving piece or if there was another reason, but all of our meat was dry and overcooked. Shawarma was mediocre and the falafel... More

Had the chicken shawarma plate to go. Large portion and fresh veggies. I agree with the chicken not being greasy. Satisfied a craving too.

So good. Well priced and the folks working there are really friendly. Very happy every time I go, which is often! Highly recommend. Very good for vegetarians as well.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
