Poor service, poor quality food, and presumptive servers that preselect your tip percentage before handing you the Visa Payment Machine. After the mediocre, below par meal, our table of 2 paused for a few minutes after receining the machine and felt annoyed that this was...done. We just paid and left and in turn writing this review. In hindsight, i should have confronted the jerk, declined to pay by card and then pay in cash without tip. Since they changed location 200 meters, they have a high almighty image of themselves. Nedless to say, I wont be back. Stay clear of this dump.More

The service was great even though I visited the restaurant during the lunch rush. The bento box was a huge, but miso soup was extra. I like everything except the California roll, I found it was a bit heavy on the rice.

I come here every Friday for lunch with my co-workers and they have something for everyone... carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans. Very helpful and knowledgable waitstaff in a bright and welcoming new location at 2315 Cambie St (they have moved from 100-500 Broadway).

We got take out bento boxes and were very happy with the ingredients, actually too much food. Everything was well-made and tasty. Standard bento box cuisine.

I was hoping when Sushi Bang changed locations the food might improve. Sadly, this wasn’t the case. I had to throw out my yam tampoura roll as it was totally inedible. It tasted like it had been sitting out on the counter for days. Sorry...Sushi Bang, I’ve tried you twice and both times were horrible. Definitely do not recommend the food here. Not fresh.More

Good vegetarian options. Well priced and they have delivery. Have eaten here many times and it's always tasty.

I have frequented many times, usually for lunch. I am never disappointed. Usually pick up my food, occasionally stayed an eaten when I'm not rushing around.

Price is pretty good, quality is also good. Service could be better. I waited after being sat like 10-15 min before any one got me a menu, never offered tea or water, had to ask. But lunch is a busy time and it's not a...big place.More

Ate here for lunch today. Sushi is alright, not great. They're getting a low score for being rude. The server, of Chinese descent, was the rudest server ever. She was annoyed when my friend mentioned the wrong food "Tsk. Gomae does not have pork! What...do you really want!?... Do you want brown rice too or tsk...." with side rolls of eyes, sighs and full facial attitude. She looked annoyed that we were there. Very very rude. I left without giving a tip. Thank me for not snapping back at her!More

My husband and I were looking for a sushi dinner out. The restaurant we planned to go to had folded so we walked down Broadway to try somewhere we hadn't been. We liked their menu because they have wild caught salmon and tuna so we...gave Sushi Bang a try. The staff were pleasant and attentive. I didn't find the seating comfortable if you like something to support your back. Their booths are weirdly designed for the human anatomy. My husband and I ordered different sushi combos. The sushi came with enormous slabs of rice. For me that is a telltale sign of bad sushi restaurants. Perhaps they think that they can make up for the poor quality with quantity of the cheap ingredient, rice. We only ate about half the food on our plates and left. We won't be going back there. Vancouver has lots of good sushi restaurants.More
