The best thing about Speakeasy is their friendly staff. Other that, its average at best. It was dead on the Sat afternoon we were there. The food was ok - pizza had food toppings but the dough was undercooked.

We were hoping for a happy hour menu, but the waitress was unsure if one was available. Really?!!! Shouldn't staff know? The answer is while other local establishments advertise drink and food specials, there is none at the speakeasy (or none that the wait staff are aware of). One awesome thing I do want to highlight (only one) is that... More
After the Vancouver sevens , we stopped here for drinks and eats. Fair selection of beer, but no stouts or porters. My wife's rusty nail was well done, and my burger and her fish and chips were quite good. Service was friendly, overall a pleasant atmosphere.
One star for the tasty chicken starter and one for the music. Otherwise it wasn't a great experience as we had trouble exciting the staff to serve us. They were busy with something- but it wasn't serving their customers.
Last night me and a couple friends found ourselves here for a couple of drinks and food before a comedy show across the road. Our drinks came straight away but the wait for our food was ridiculous. Fortunately, the staff were level headed enough to handle this situation. We ended up canceling our food because it took too long but... More
TV's with College Football, and even had my Michigan Wolverines on! Our server was awesome too. Because of her, I think we'll be back every Saturday morning. Thanks Casandra!
Visited here twice whilst on holiday recently. First time two of us for a few cheap happy hour beers - three dollars a pint and some potato skins - all very nice. Second time three of us for dinner and pints - five dollars a pint. Service and food good from friendly staff.
Worst customer service. I'm 40+ years old and was asked for. "2 pieces of ID" just to enter the place??? I have an EDL which is good enough ID for Canada/USA border services, but not for this place. My second "required ID" was a credit card??? Just plain idiotic. Oh, and they dont take debit...lol. Never will i eat there... More
I visited speakeasy on a Thursday afternoon and was pleased to learn that happy hour started at 2pm. The local beer on tap was great and inexpensive too. The food was good, and the ambience was great. They show a variety of sports on the tvs and the patio is perfect for people watching in a trendy area. Definitely recommend... More
