Been wanting to try this place for the longest time. A friend featured it in his write up and I have heard other people talking about this place. They said that it was one place worth trying. So, when some friends invited us to join...More
Ate here twice while in Vancouver. Found the service to be quite wonderful and the food was well presented and very tasty. Being vegetarian I was able to substitute the ham for avocado on my eggs Benny. The bright open area is very nice as...More
We were instantly greeted with a smile. Very attentive and polite staff. The food was AMAZING, serving both western style and Filipino dishes. The crispy pork hock is delicious. Comes with rice and the portion is good enough for 2, as stated in their menu....More
Very rude cashier. Not sure why she was agitated. They weren’t even busy.
Food was average. Crispy pata was not crispy at all. Caldereta was mediocre. Rice wasn’t even warm. They probably got it from the buffer table. Adobo sandwich was too sour. The waitress...More
Popped in here to buy a couple of salmon bagels to takeaway. The surroundings and staff were pleasant and service prompt. I asked for smoked salmon, cream cheese with butter on a bagel. I assumed it would be a plain bagel without salad. I assumed...More
My experience was pretty crappy. I called the restaurant in advance to see if they had the Soccer World Cup games so I could watch a match with my two daughters (6 and 9). They said yes of course. Up to here all was fine....More
Very seldom so we find a restaurant where I can enjoy food from other cultures while my spouse can have traditional American/Canadian food. Herbs and Spices is that place. The women who run Herbs and Spices Cafe welcomed us and their other customers as if...More

Thank you so much for your great review!!! We truly appreciate it and we are humbled by it. We are more than ever inspired to give nothing but the best service and delicious food. We hope to see you again =)
Small cafe in Park Place - right next to the Hyatt Recency. Surprise with linen tablecloths and napkins-homemade soups that were delicious and a special grilled cheese sandwich that was to die for. Great prices and would definitely go back next time I'm in Vancouver
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy
social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
