I used to like this place when they opened and it has always been a bit over priced but I came back today with a couple friends for brunch and it is ridiculously overpriced. Just for 3 beers we payed 40 dlls. Food is very...expensive, not authentic and portions are mediocre. Don’t waste your money at this place!!!More

Went here to celebrate the birthday. Had a reservation which was good. Ambient is not something wow.Service was ok. My food was okay, but we find out some liquid on the bottom of the queso fundido dish which means it was not made of the...best mix of the cheeses.Others in our party were satisfied with the food. I won't be back .More

I eat a lot of tacos but the flavours here are authentic and fresh. Highly recommend the fondita and any of the drinks containing Mezcal ;)

My date and I came here because Mexican is her favourite food. I don't have a favourite, although after last night, Mexican is up there. It's not an easy location to find, but not particularly hard, either. The dining room was quite small, but despite...that, we managed to be seated so that we at least felt secluded. Servers and the bartender were the only people I saw all night. The secluded feeling means the noise wasn't bad at all. The food: Oh my God, the food! My mouth is watering just thinking of it! I can't remember for the life of me what we ordered. But I remember the way the lamb meat fell off the bone with barely a touch. And the guacamole was, well, it was guacamole. Which is always delicious! The service was friendly, drinks were good, food was delicious, and the price wasn't outrageous, so I'll definitely be back!More

Four of us went for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it! The food is sophisticated Mexican cuisine, really delicious and excellent value. The service was excellent - very attentive but not bothersome. We really enjoyed the tacos which are superb and the chicharrones de puerco, we...also had the queso fundido which is fantastic! Highly recommended!More

Nice place to choose in gastown. Sign says mezcal and not la mezcaleria as the name suggests. Had been to the one on commercial drive, with live music. Have to say, the music and vibe was way better on commercial drive. The music was jazz...and it was too slow so didn’t pick up the mood. We had a drink only. Mine had a little spicy kick to it, and mango. Really enjoyed it. Staff are friendly. Service was good too.More

I enjoyed every single bite of the (numerous) plates we shared among friends. The staff is friendly and competent. Absolutely worth the money.
