The Prospect Point Cafe is a full service restaurant located in Stanley Park. It has surprisingly good quality food - especially the seafood dishes. But it is not inexpensive. There is a nice view of the bridge & harbor. The restaurant is spacious and the service is friendly.

This coffee shop/ restaurant is a great location at prospect point but its really nothing great. Because of its location it doesn't really seem to need to try very hard and its very ordinary. It was very nice to sit having a coffee in beautiful surroundings and I did hear a rumour that it might be taken over soon!

Its located at a very good view point of Stanley park. Food variety and quality is average. Since there are not too many eating places inside the park, there are not many choices.

Nice enough cafe, although no sandwiches available (made to order!) Cookies good though. Plenty of outdoor seating. Even a few racoon's wandering around to amuse the tourists

Stopped here when cycling through Stanley Park. The main interest is the views over the bay and expecting that the restaurant caters for tourist trade our expectations of the food weren't too high. We were surprised, we shared a salad and calamari rings and the food was very good. Also enjoyed a well flavoured beer.

There were six of us and they sat us right away which was great, because we were hungry. They sat us at a window table which was lovely. It was a beautiful sunny day in the Park and the view was awesome. The food was good and we totally enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. I would definitely suggest this... More

This restaurant is located in Stanley park. We sat in the outdoor section which is self service. The beer was really good, but the fish was the greasiest I've ever seen. Had to dab it with several paper towels before eating it. I would not recommend the fish and chips here.

We took a walk in Stanley Park and popped in here for lunch. At the highest point of the park it offers fantastic views out over the bay and of Lion's Gate Bridge. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, both with food service and information about local spots to visit; I even saw them drawing a map for the... More

A late lunch and pleasant beer was a good reward for a very enjoyable walk from the harbourside. We both had half a smoked chicken and should have shared one instead. Smoked flavour was great but the sauce overpowered the other flavours. Servers were friendly and thankfully not rushed. We appreciated waiting a few minutes for a fresh table to... More

We stopped at the Prospect Point Restaurant as we were showing our out of town friends around Stanley Part. We chose Fish and Chips, and were not disappointed. Lots of atmosphere, surrounded by trees. We will dine here again.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks.
