We used to visit the Surrey branch often not anymore since it closed down. Today we decided to drop by the Vancouver branch since we were at the neighbourhood. Always loved their delicious food and one can never go wrong choosing their dishes like kare kare ( oxe tail with peanut sauce), pork sisig and speciality desserts. Highly recommended and... More

Searched for Filipino restaurant and found this one. It has mixed reviews but hey Filipino food shouldn't be that bad. We were seated right away, some reviews said that servers were rude but our server was good. She did her job, she came when we needed her. We order crispy pata (5/5). Pork sisig (1/5), it tasted like burnt meat,... More

There was some friendly squabble at the counter about who was going to pay. Then the staff flat out insulted me in front of my face in Tagalog as I was paying; she must have thought I wasn't Filipino. Never been so offended at a restaurant. The staff were noticeably very nice to customers who spoke Tagalog and rude to... More

It is my son's 1st bday and we chose Pinpin to celebrate it because of the authentic filipino cuisine they offer...no doubt about that. Kudos to ur kitchen team!!! We were 25 altogether and since Pinpin doesn't accept reservations, we still came and waited. I have explained that to my guests that we have to wait especially it is a... More

Went there a while ago with a group of 12 people. Second time trying Filipino food. It was good. Seafood Kare Kare was soooo delicious, and the BBQ Fiesta was not bad either. If you have enough people to share the big Halo Halo, go for it, you won't regret it.

Pinpin has the best crispy pata in town. I always order the crispy binagoongan and pinakbet as well. I find the service friendly and the establishment very clean. It's my go to for Filipino food!

Whenever we go there we end up waiting at least 20-30 minutes for a table. Their food is worth the wait! They have a variety of food choices and they are all good! So good we cross the border just to visit the place.

This restaurant is a bit noisy, mostly clean and served up a generally tasty food. The Taro leaf in coconut milk was salty. The rice had no salt at all. So it all had to be blended. The Bihon (nice noodle) was alright. It had a nice smoked flavor to it but they can do better than that by adding... More

They have a huge variety of Filipino dishes. I was surprised when I browsed through their menu. It was hard to choose as I was alone and don't have someone to share the food with me. I tried their lengua as this is the top 1 on my Filipino food craving's list and it did not disappoint. The only thing... More

The food was great, and the service was fast, the only things that I didn't like was that they run out of white rice but we were offered fried rice instead..(which most people know is left over rice fried over garlic),I expected a bit more than a apology but I guess they didn't care about it,since the restaurant was packed and the... Staying in Little India / Punjabi Market

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India / Punjabi Market
Little India has changed in recent years. While some view it as a declining neighbourhood due to emigration and competition, it is still the original site of the Punjabi Market, and an epicentre for Indo-Canadian culture. The many textile outlets along these blocks boast endless swaths of colourful sari fabric, while the local markets and food stalls waft the savory scent of sugar and spice. Indian fast-pop breaks the quiet of the neighbourhood, as it drifts out from the windows of shops and homes, and glitzy storefronts offer bangles, jewels, and silk at reasonable prices. Join the bargain hunt and step into a world apart in Little India, which becomes especially upbeat during the summer, when celebrations and festivities take hold of its streets.
