We greatly enhoiyed aour food but clearly over-ordered. I started with the mussels and chorizo and this could have been a main dish not a starter. It was tasty. There were 3 of us and we had the salmon wellington, and 2 specials (halibut and escolar) All 3 fish disses were cooked perfectly and were huge portions so that we... More

Being in Vancouver, all of us were hankering for seafood. My niece googled this place and found favorable reviews for the food but tentative on the décor and location. It didn’t much matter because I’m all for the food vs. the appearance of the place as long as it doesn’t appear that tacky. I have to say though I found... More

Wow, if you have never heard of the Pink Peppercorn, and you love seafood then this place is for you! My hubby and I popped in last Thursday evening, it was an unplanned stop but so happy we did. I had the seafood linguine and I've told several people since then that there was more seafood than pasta. The flavours... More

Supposed to be affiliated with the Cannery, now closed, I had high expectations for amazing seafood. I was not wowed at all, the decor was marine like but I expected it to be classier as I thought it was fine dining at that price. Our fish dishes were both cooked too much. I would not say dry but not that... More

This restaurant is run by alumni of the (long lamented) Cannery Restaurant. Food excellently prepared, and service is prompt, friendly and proficient. Note that when we were there recently, we found the portions to be very generous - unless you're starving, you'll want to pass on their starters, or at least limit yourselves to sharing one. At our visit, at... More

Unassuming in appearance if you were to drive by and quite frankly if you walked in the door, you might judge this book you its cover. Well worth a visit despite the decor and unusual location. Service was unparalleled, lot of attention and good amount of hovering, water glass filling and so on. Excellent seafood, with fresh dishes and catches... More

Went here with a group of people for a business dinner. Two of us got food poisoning (possibly from Oysters, but we tried each other's food as well). Still waiting to find out if anyone else got sick as well. The waitress and chef were really nice, though. But, for obvious reasons, I'd never return here.

A trip down Vancouver memory lane to a Cannery spin-off, complete with retro seafaring decor. Our server's nickname was Teddybear, and he was a teddybear. Glasses of wine and food portions were generous. Remember when restaurants served big portions, and you left very full without having had to load up on carbos and have dessert? It was like that here,... More

We were looking for a restaurant near the Escape Room on Kingsway and discovered The Pink Peppercorn which is about four blocks away. On a rainy Vancouver night the restaurant was warm and inviting and our server the right mix of professional and fun. He suggested two different shared seafood appetizers, both of which were delicious. I had the Westcoast... More

Food is delicious; prices are reasonable for seafood; only about 2 months old. Chef was from The Cannery. I'm a very happy customer who wants them listed.
