The menu is simple and has a few options but its seriously delicious for a sandwhich. I had the Porcheta and instantly wanted to try the others. Highly recommend!

This place will likely be packed anytime you visit for lunch. Essentially it’s bread rolls with choices of fillings, but don’t think about it too much. The pork offerings presented at the first counter you’ll pass are brilliant, with freshly carved or pulled roast pork...More

We had the porchetta sandwich and it is really good. The crispy pork bits they add to it are amazing. The counter staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely stop in if you are looking for a quick, really good sandwich.

What a happy accident that we stumbled upon this place. Even happier, yet, that we selected the porchetta sandwich. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for one.

There were 5 sandwich options today. Pastrami, buffalo chicken, Vego (beets and goat cheese), porchetta, and the daily special. We tried the first 3 and they were all great.

I had the banh mi. Aka the Vietnamese sub. Unfortunately I am still unable to find a good one anywhere in Vancouver. The tofu element was better here than most but the bun , which seems to be the staple for all their sandwiches doesn't...More

The porchetta sandwich is the best in town. Service is fast and efficient and the price if friendly. The crispy skin that they add to the sandwich make it crunchy and the juicy pork just set each other off perfectly.

First choice is always the pork sandwich, but you can do no wrong by ordering any of them. Their soups and salads are really good too. Don't let the long line ups intimidate you; they usually move pretty quickly.

Went to Meat & Bread for lunch with a few colleagues. Staff was friendly and welcoming. One long communal table for everyone to dine. Ambiance is great and the food wonderful. The Moroccan Carrot soup was to die for. I hear the lines can get...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

Yes they serve alcohol. I have had craft beers there and I noticed cider. I can't say what other options are on the menu.

Presumably, this question is about Vancouver, Canada. The answer is yes, all cab companies in Vancouver take credit cards. Typically, the taxi vehicles are equipped with wireless payment terminals.

We make sandwiches that are high quality, of good value, and prepared with skill as well as heart. The essence of our food simple, fast, delicious is the foundation of Meat & Bread. Our first shop opened its doors in 2010 in the historic Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada, and, since then, we have opened another shop in Vancouver as well as in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighbourhood and in downtown Calgary’s historic Grain Exchange building.
