Was checking out their menu to pick up pizza for new years and their website says the Gastown location on Cordova is now closed. They are still operating their Edgemont Village location in North Vancouver. Great pizza but think COVID19 probably contributed to their closing...this downtown locale that depended a lot on tourists as well as locals. :( Glad to know they have the other location to keep offering their pizzas although we don't get to the north shore too often.More

Nicli Antica Pizzeria has great thin crust pizza using fresh traditional Italian ingredients and salads. The service is top notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you love traditional Neapolitan style pizza.

just another place that is hyped by people who dont have a good palate to begin with nor have a clue unfortunately. place is ok but everyone is right about service being whatever, but i expect it never gets to me. As long as im...getting good food in a reasoable place and atmosphere im ok and its an extra plus if the food is better than average so ok. Went there for dinner with the pregnant wife and ordered a few things and to finish it off ordered a tiramisu which came drenched at the bottom in alcohol, which is fine normally cuz they burn it off, but im sure it wasnt and they maybe lit it for just a second. after mentioning this to my waiter he said, after asking the person that prepared it that " yes there is but they burn off the alcohol." without caring at all that maybe i should offer something else or anything he just left it at that. I never argue with these people when i see they have no clue anyway so just left the dessert got the bill. after just 2 of us ordering a good amount of 3 starters and a couple pizzas i thought for sure hed remove it from the bill. Unfortunately no, i got my bill paid him 20% tip also and left. Food : Anyone who knows food definite NO, want an ok pizza any other tom dick and harry can make then sure go here. Service : again for anyone who has any expectations that a place that has 3 branches might be doing something right with training of any sort for servers then forget that also atmosphere : 6/10 Cant wait for trip advisor and other review places are able to actually put a system in place for the people who are reviewing to have some sort of general standard so i dont keep getting dissapointed when i get to places that seem like they have good reviews.More

We visited the restaurant for my friend birthday. The waiter changed a few times, the plates we had to ask to be cleared twice. No one was offered another drink - when asked the server rolled his eyes and said "couldn't you just ask for...yourself". A friend was still eating whilst her plate eventually was taken whilst (still in use). Staff drinking whilst at work and playing on phones. No managers around to speak this through or resolve. When address Taylor was argumentative with a friend of mine and another waiter said when he has bad service he does not complete and lead onto say "can i not defend myself'. We felt because there was a large party they new they would get gratuity - so almost why bother. The girls who's birthday it was left because of this. They knocked off a bottle of prosecco and only apologized as we walked out. Would never return to this place again!!More

...the best pesto pizza I’ve ever eaten. It’s taken a while to get it right, I mean, it’s taken a while for me to decide the way I like it. I’d say to the waiter, can we do this, can we take away that... and...she would smile and bring me just what I ordered: testament to Nicli’s willingness to fine-tune so every customer is as satisfied as possible. Exceptional staff, killer arugula/fennel salad and a delicious array of Italian wine. I just can’t get enough.More

Quite the dining experience. Five of us tried three different pizzas and we pretty much didn’t know what we were ordering. Not a lot of English in the menu. What a pleasant surprise. So many flavours permeate the crust. True Neapolitan pizza. We had a...meatball appetizer that set the stage for the pizza. Great food....service was good as well. We’ll be back.More

This is my second time here. Again we had poor service. It’s disappointing considering the food is great and the happy hour specials are some of the best. I would give it a much higher rating if it was based on the cuisine and specials...alone. Our server was annoyed with us, and it showed. She only seemed interested in being kind when she found out we are “industry” as we paid for our bills.More

Date night with my lovely, made a last minute reservation to sit at the bar. Atmosphere was bubbling and warm. The head Barman kept us entertained while expertly filling drink orders for the staff sections. We shared a fennel & citrus salad, which was crisp...and delicious, a fungi pizza , and there spicy salami pizza. Both were excellent, although I could have handled slightly spicier....it was very good! All in all a great night out, entertained and satiated ....will be back another evening for sure!More

On our recent visit to Vancouver, we ate here twice (and I probably could have every night). The staff were so lovely and friendly. The pizzas were fantastic and served with scissors for cutting our own slices - quirky and fun. Great salads, great wine...and the BEST panna cotta I have ever had.More

Since our last visit here a year ago, we had the nice memories of their Pizza. so we went there again Yesterday and it was above all expectations. they have added a new wing which is very pleasant and convenient to sit in. it is...not crowded and not noisy. everything we ordered was tops, including the house wine. and all at the happy hours prices. the service was prompt, friendly and helpful. we will for sure come here again before we leave Vancouver.More
