I made a reservation for 6 for a 30th birthday celebration. I then got an email from the general manager thanking me for the reservation. Upon our arrival we were greeted warmly by all the staff we met. We had a round table which was...appreciated so we could talk to everyone. Our server, Tyler, was wonderful - warm, knowledgeable and attentive. We had 5 house cocktails, 4 appetizers, 6 mains, 3 desserts and 2 bottles of wine (albeit lower end price). Everything was cooked perfectly from the vegetables to the proteins - fresh and delicious. The attention to detail in food plating was amazing. Everything was served at the same time, from the drinks, mains and desserts and plates cleared all at the same time which I really appreciate. Definitely shows the thoughtfulness and care they put into serving their guests. Total before tax and tip was only $565, although had we enjoyed more expensive wine (and their list is extensive), it would have been more but still reasonable in my opinion for a restaurant of that caliber! The next day I received another email from the general manager thanking us for dining with them. Impressive......it's the little things! I would definitely recommend Hawksworth for a special occasion or date. Thank you for a very memorable evening!More

Situated in the heart of Van City, the Rosewood hotel is a historic and elegant retreat. Ideally located for business and pleasure, it is within walking distance of popular Stanley Park and the dynamic atmosphere of Robson Square and its high fashion boutiques, cafes and...shopping venues. The Rosewood is poised with a list of leisure pursuits from heli-skiing, snowboarding, to sailing, whale watching and others. This legendary hotel's amenities include Sense: the Rosewood Spa, a spectacular indoor pool, a fancy lounge and a signature fine dining restaurant: the Hawksworth Restaurant and Bar. The Hawksworth is an eminently successful restaurant guided by renowned Chef, David Hawksworth (a published recipe book has his name on it) and is home to one of Canada's most celebrated fine dining venues. The restaurant conveys a sense of luxury, in keeping with the hotel's 'Sense of Place' mantra (think: sense of where you are). This luxury stems from the chic paintings to the colossal oval-shaped chandelier that serves as the focal point of the restaurant amongst other upscale accoutrements. The cuisine here is phenomenal, you can feast on a bevy of local ingredients cooked in a contemporary style and count on the passion of the culinary team to whip beautifully plated treats. The wine list is a dizzy repertoire of local and worldly variants, wide and deep enough to satisfy any palette. The Hawksworth Bar is not too shabby with its top-notch bar program pumping out craft-made cocktails. One such libation: the Signature Georgie Cocktail is an original recipe from the 20's. Drinking this concoction is almost a 'right of passage' for staying at the Rosewood, so I had one, (gin, lemon, blossom, egg white) .... as with wine, the recipe had aged well from the 20's. I had the occasion to eat at the Hawksworth 3 times. My 1st foray was a selection of Crispy pork belly and roasted scallops......I didn't know a belly could taste that good. Next up was the Sablefish....this plate was so handsome that I didn't know whether to just stare at it or eat it. I finally succumb to my appetite.....and the fish tasted as good as it looked. Now for the 3rd........I know it's crazy, but I picked the Classic Burger........... ....this was not Mcdonalds...you have not tasted a burger until you have tasted this one. I stuck with 1 dessert.....the Hazelnut praline...I love praline....a taste of heaven. Looking for a serious, award-winning destination restaurant, with chic surroundings and polished service, all combining for an exceptional dining experience......then try... ......the Hawksworth............ Worthy of a Visit.More

My brother in law, who has very discerning taste, highly recommended we come here for a cocktail. After looking into it, we learned about their happy hour. After a cool windy day of walking, the place was extremely comfortable and inviting. The service was great,...the cocktails pleasing, and the Korean Fried Cauliflower was to die for. I will visit again!More

Went there for Sunday brunch before Xmas, and the restaurant was “full” given all the Covid limitations. I ordered the 3 courses brunch menu, and all three courses were good! Main was turkey benedict! Guess it was because of Xmas, but it was actually very...tasty! And the portion was very generous I thought I’d be too full for desert. Desert looked like cheese cake with ice-cream but turned out it’s egg custard tart with sorbet, which was much lighter and wasn’t too sweet. I was pleasantly surprised and I almost finished it though I was full after the main. The cocktail looked quite pretty and innocent but it had a fair amount of alcohol. Service was very good, I went there quite late but I wasn’t rushed at all although I left close to end of their shift. And the waitress paid much attention to my orders including my cup of coffee, whether I wanted it with cream or milk, homo or skim. I was very happy and would definitely go again.More

We returned to Hawksworth for a birthday dinner during COVID. Despite the necessary precautions, the restaurant delivered an experience that was similar to what it used to be. Great food & service. Aslo a great half price deal on some very nice BC wines.

Being Covid concious Hawksworth ticked all the boxes even the thought put into restrooms was perfectly executed. Now the good stuff! The burger and beer happy hour special for under $20 including toppings and fries was out of this world. I would happily pay full...price so the fact I feel this is the best burger in Vancouver isn't because of it's cheap hh price. Service from Jerome and everyone else was fabulous (we came to see the lovely Jenna for scotch talk but she wasn't in) but Jerome can mix up some mean cocktails with some fancy pouring techniques. Still a favourite and we will come back every visit to Vancouver. Thanks Mike and CrystalMore

Beautiful restaurant, super proffesional and friendly staff, our server which I forgot to get a name was a super nice lady doing a great job making my table with a toddler and all the other tables super happy, she was always checking all tables and...making sure service was spotless, I actually wanted to thank her personally but she was busy when we left. The manager was receiving guest super politely and friendly, he was cleaning tables and running food and asking the tables if everything was OK, for me that is a perfect manager. And obviously food was awesome super recommended the Sable fish. Well done kitchenMore

My good friend and I decided to get dressed up and go to Hawksworth. We missed our birthday celebration because of Covid. The restaurant did not disappoint, the staff was exceptional, very tentative, kind and thoughtful. When we got to our table, there was a...card from the staff. The drinks were delicious and the food amazing! I really enjoyed the shrimp toast, KfC and my halibut was cooked to perfection. We also had our birthday dessert and when dinner was done, they provided us with parting gift of coconut mango loaf. It was so good, my son ate all of it when I brought it home.More

The answer is yes. Let your waiter know and the chef will accommodate. Yes I believe there is a wine pairing menu. You can always call in to make sure. Keep in mind menu changes seasonally.
