We went to try the hot chocolates as it was part of the Vancouver hot chocolate festival. They looked great and the cookie was amazing however we got a tiny glass half filled with hot chocolate (Luke warm at best) and the rest was just cream and the other toppings. The atmosphere was very nice fairly empty but for $9.50 each I would of expected it to be hot as a minimum and to last more than 2 mouthfuls. I wouldn’t recommend going for their hot chocolate

We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and this was exceptionally close and had very good, not too complicated meals at a good price. Plus, everyone working there was very friendly and service/food was very quick. We liked it so much we ate breakfast there several times during our stay!

My highlight of visiting the Bellagio Cafe was seeing my coworker enjoy the "coffee experience" which included a pot of coffee, cream, milk, a tiny cup and a croissant on the side! It's a cool thing to have on the menu! The ricotta french toast was fantastic and the portions on all of our meals were very good. Good experience!

I checked out Bellagio Cafe specifically to try their "Rainbow Spiced" peanut butter flavoured hot chocolate for the Hot Chocolate Festival. When the drink arrived, it spilled over the sides of the cup and the cup had no handle so it was messy to drink. The drink tasted nothing like peanut butter and was just weak chocolate syrup with a clump of peanut butter that sank to the bottom of the cup. It basically tasted like hot milk. The quarter piece of waffle with chocolate dipping sauce that came with the drink seemed to be store bought and was soft and tasteless. We remarked an Eggo waffle tasted better. On the positive side, the cafe had lovely atmosphere with an Italian feel and service was spirited and friendly. Based on the drink and food quality though, I wouldn't return.

The service and quality of breakfast experienced at this cafe today was a deep disappointment. The waiting time for our order to be taken in hindsight put us on notice that the service was poor. Six clients at the adjacent table walked out for this reason. The menu offered a “gluten friendly” option yet on discussion with the waitress, it contained bread and breakfast potatoes that were not at all”gluten friendly”. Once served, we waited for our cutlery, and the waiting guest on another table sourced cutlery for us and then walked out! Our ordered poached eggs were served as fried eggs, the gluten free avocado was served with deep fried onions ( from a fryer not suitable for gluten free diets ) and our bill contained a material error. The kitchen had a sign posted on the wall “please keep the kitchen sink clean” - is that not a standard requirement ? All in all, a terrible experience on our last morning in Vancouver - we do not recommend this cafe.

I went for breakfast and without question the worst meal ever. The waitress got the order wrong twice, then delivered the food that was ordered wrong again. Both egg dishes where over cooked with little for no finesse, absent of any cooking skills whatsoever. Beware of this place, totally disappointed. Thanks Mark Stuarmarkw@hotmail.com

We were staying at the Fairmont Vancouver and after getting in later in the evening we were looking for something close and shareable. We chose Bellaggios cafe and it did not disappoint. While service was a bit slow we realized they appeared to be slammed with everyone arriving at the same time. (Probably most from the Rocky Mountaineer group all with same idea). But the food was delicious and plenty. We had pizza (which was huge) antipasto plate- also huge and risotto dish. Again we returned last night and were greeted by the same pleasant waitress Lesia. She remembered us and again apologized for our wait earlier in the week and amazingly remembered the lactose intolerance of one in our party. Lesia made us feel welcome as in the old neighborhood Italian cafe🥰. Last night we had the rigatoni bolognese and the pasta with what we call suprema sauce and both were outstanding

I have now visited this cafe restaurant for three times. It takes ages to get food. Even on breakfast with set options it took today 45 minutes for simple bacon, eggs and toast.

We stopped in yesterday for a coffee and saw all the wonderful food going by we decided to come for breakfast/ brunch the next day. We should have skipped it. The service was so slow, our coffee came at the same time as our breakfast, we had to go up and ask for a refill. If it was busy I would totally understand but it pretty empty. After giving up that our waitress was coming back with the bill, we had go find her. Cute cafe, great coffee but super slow service.

Great Authentic Italian dining experience from real Italians. The servers Carol and Raquel are friendly, attentive and no server attitude when requesting to speak with the chef concerning food allergies. Chef Pamela Di Palma was extremely professional, knowledgeable about food allergies and attentive to my needs. She is very friendly and cares about her food and guests. When the meal arrived not only was the presentation pleasing the food was fantastic. The modifications she suggested were more than what I expected. The was a culinary delight. With so many restaurants in Vancouver with mediocre service and food Bellagio Café is a small intimate hidden diamond downtown on Hornby Street. Thank you for the wonderful old Italian dining experience. Brian O'Donnell

The owner of this spot was outside and beckoning us to come in for breakfast so we decided to give it a try. I feel that there was some miscommunication somewhere along the line becuase there was a delay in getting our meal served, which he apologized for. Otherwise, when the food arrived, it was hot and very tasty.

My brother and I came here because we were craving some Italian food. I originally came to get a classic plate of pasta with marinara (which I saw on the the menu online) but was a bit disappointed to not see it on the menu in the restaurant. We ended up ordering pizzas each. There weren’t that many people in the restaurant yet it took a LONG time to get our pizzas. We’re on vacations so it’s not a big deal but I just don’t understand how it can take so long when we were basically the only order for the kitchen. The pizzas arrived and there were good but definitely not the best pizza I had. They were not thin crust best also not regular crust? Sauce was delicious. We order a tiramisu for dessert and that was extremely delicious. I probably wouldn’t return but we enjoyed our time nonetheless.

This restaurant has an ambience to match their deceptive online presence. But to their credit they reeled me in with their web design. The menu was a hodgepodge of a mishmash on a clipboard. The fare was mediocre and that is being generous. The staff had barriers to communication. I had to send my order back after the explicit request for how I would like my pizza was ignored. The decor was a shambles. Save yourself money and look elsewhere.

Great menu, generous portions, excellent service and good value for money. We had house wine which was good value and entirely drinkable, 3 different pastas, a lovely salad and garlic bread. All excellent. A really pleasing 1st meal during our visit to Vancouver.

Wanted something close to hotel and found this online. Food thoughtfully prepared and served, My only suggesion is that it might have been served a little more quickly, we had to wait some time when in fact there were very few in the restaurant. All in all I would definitely recommend
