No kids menu, food was not great, eggs cold and not cooked properly, no one asks how food was. Didn’t even eat half of it. I wouldn’t recommend this place!

Our family has enjoyed Frankie's Restaurant several times. Our last dinner was on September 3rd. Our food was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. I found the steak to be cooked to perfection and very flavorful, and my husband loved the ravioli. The amazing atmosphere and...relaxed pace of each course allowed us to truly enjoy the evening. We really appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of our waiter Sergi. He took the time to help us with menu selections and was attentive without being intrusive. Even the water he offered had a special taste. Lemon Sophio and cheesecake for dessert were such a good choice! We highly recommend Frankie's Italian Restaurant. We'll be back!More

Based on all the reviews we should have had a great dinner. But we didn’t. First of all, it’s very noisy. There is a lot of background clattering in the dining room and the staff had music turned up to the point of being a...distracting racket where conversation across the table was difficult. Patrons were essentially yelling at each other to converse. And the music was some irritating blend of European disco thumping, off-beat scat jazz and a woman unintelligibly wailing about something. Not exactly conducive to fine dining. I’m not necessarily expecting the typical cliché Italian music, but their selections for acoustic ambiance would drive rats out of a barn. I had the antipasto platter, my dining companion the beet and steak salad. The antipasto platter (for $23) was a small selection meats and plain cheeses scattered out on a board to make it appear bigger than it was. It would have been unimpressive at half the price. My companion had the beet and steak salad which the menu called for marinated rare flat iron steak. The steak was far too well done so it was sent back for another try. After about 20 minutes of waiting, we flagged a staff member to inquire the status of the salad. She came back and reported “the chef is working on it as fast as he can”. The dining room was pretty empty, so we don’t know what the delay was for. While we waited, staff raced about the dining room, talking among themselves and never looking at or attending to our table. You would need a flare pistol to get their attention. After another 10 minutes of waiting our server, who was missing in action for half an hour returned apologetic with the salad which was as advertised, but unremarkable. Guilt-tipping is in full swing at this restaurant where the server stands sheepishly in front of you while you decide on an amount on the handheld device, and then inspects it after you make a selection. The tacit entitlement is oppressive. The food wasn’t her fault, neither was the noise, or the music, but her disappearance was. I’m glad other folks had good experiences here, but in my opinion, management appears to be unconscious about the dining experience and the food. If you read the restaurant’s responses to reviews, there are basically just two which are copied and pasted, so you can get the idea of how much attention they are paying to remarks.More

We were downtown for a concert and wanted something close the Rogers Arena. So I decided on Frankie's. We ordered meatballs and arancini to start. The meatballs were tender and juicy, the arancini were simply divine, the best I have ever had. We opted for...pasta dishes to round off the meal. The desserts were likewise delicious. Furthermore, we had a charming waiter Serhii who both cordial and efficient. Overall if you are looking for decent Italian fare give Frankie's a try.More

I wanted something light for dinner and the Caesar Salad hit the spot. The croutons were the softest I’ve ever had and so good. Other people had the lasagna and they liked it. You get complimentary focaccia bread too.

Enjoyed a late night dinner here, could go without reservation, foods came fast and gluten-free pasta was available. Food was very nice and for a hotel restaurant moderately priced. The tables and all decorations were on point also. Would definitely come again.

Normally I'd try and avoid eating at a hotel diner - they tend to be expensive and not great. But it was lunchtime, we needed to eat and thought an Italian would be sufficient. I'm pleased to say we made the right decision - I...had the meatballs, my family had pizzas. I'm not a food critic and in general I eat because I have too rather than for the cullinary experience - and whilst it was only meatballs and spaghetti it was delicious. Probably the best I've had. Pizzas were great too. Service was good too.More

The restaurant is located in/ next to the hotel we stayed at. We arrived late and hungry and although busy they seated us promptly and we were attended to quickly and pleasantly. We all found things on the menu we were interested in trying, including...vegetarian options. Everything came out as ordered and we all enjoyed our meal. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Breakfast the next two mornings were good, service a little slower one day but there only seemed to be one waitress on for part of our time there. Again, we all enjoyed our meals and there were no issues with what we ordered. Would recommend, especially if in the area. We missed out returning second night because there was an event at the arena across the street and they were full, my suggestion is if staying close to here check for events and book if you can for evening meal.More

We ate here because we stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel that houses this restaurant..we didn't have a car so this was easy..But it did not disappoint at all..our Italian meal at night was excellent..my friend had the house specialty Lasagne and she said it...was the best she'd ever eaten..it was a large portion and she ate it all..bread and oil come with the meals so of course we enjoyed that also..I had the Spaghetti Carbonara which was wonderful..we both left that night deliciously full and we were glad we only had to go up the elevator to our room..More

We do have different genre of live jazz playing in the evenings. Some styles are for a listening audience and others lend itself for quiet conversations.
