We ate here for during the rugby 7s tournament and it was ok. The calamari was very good and the spaghetti and meatballs was respectable, but I wouldn't call the food anything special really.

I have been to this restaurant several times and the food has been good. This time the food was terrible. I ordered a Caesar salad and pizza. The salad barely had any dressing and had dirt still on it. The pizza had a sour smell and no taste, the tomato sauce looked watery. We waited 25 minutes to be seated... More

Went with a group of 10 for dinner, food mostly was very good. One person had salmon and it was dry. Calamari appetizer and Minestrone soup very good. Pasta dishes were good, and food was reasonably priced. Staff very busy, good of used more staff. The staff we had were friendly though. Toast at breakfast not very toasted.

Recently stayed at Georgian Court Hotel, so Frankie's was very convenient. We didn’t check in until late, so we decided on appetizers. They have comfortable club chairs, that just made us want to relax and shed the travel off our backs. These were closer to the front window, otherwise, the rest of the dining room was typical hardback chairs. Reservations... More

This is a great spot to go pre game,, or anytime for that matter, Service is impeccable, the menu is very good, and lots of tasty choices... Some new renovations makes it even more comfortable. Happy Hour $5.00 wine is a great choice,, as well as Heineken Beer. I always make a point of going to Frankie's when visiting downtown... More

First time visit, we sat in the jazz bar and had a wonderful time! They do ask you to be quiet, so it affects hanging out as a crowd/friends - some couples around us were not impressed - but the music is so loud, you either have to yell, or say nothing. Might be good for a date, less so... More

Great place before or after a show at the QET. Terrific service and very tasty dishes: meatballs, prawn & crab raviolo, lamb shank & shrimp scampi tagliatelle. Fantastic just sorry we were too full for dessert. Next time ...

Pro: Restaurant is spacious and tastefully decorated. Cons: - minestrone soup had so much zucchini that it should have been called zucchini soup. - Lasagna was overcooked and really salty. I did not finish it. - Service was OK but no inquiry about why I picked out a pile of zucchini, why I did not finish the lasagna or whether... More
