When we went it was very busy , not the place if you want a quiet meal, it's a noisy atmosphere . The food was nice, nothing out standing but enjoyable, the service was slow but then again they were very busy.

While staying at the hotel pretty much attached, tried for breakfast, it was so so good, and the service was excellent, and friendly. We went back again for dinner, it was packed, but you can see why. The restaurant is really a plus. Food price and service.......

Frankie's has two entrances. The one on the right is a jazz club/restaurant. The one on the left has basically the same menu without the jazz. We sat outside so we could hear the jazz but still carry on a conversation. The food was good as was the music.

Had a late dinner with the "crew". Service was very good and the food was outstanding. The price was reasonable too.

Had dinner before a show, with another couple, so we were on a timeline. Seated quickly, service was snappy, and drinks arrived very fast - service continued to quick. Tried the halibut special, veal and pasta, all were excellent. We will certainly visit them again.

After a day of touring Vancouver we enjoyed a fine Italian meal at Frankie's. Our Caesar salads were a very good start to a relaxing meal and were followed by some of the best pasta I've ever had. The setting is comfortable and the service professional and efficient. Hope to return one day.

This restaurant was next to our hotel, the Hampton inn in downtown Vancouver , so it was very convenient, but that aside, we lived it. The wine was very good, the pasta was excellent and our server, Juliet, provided great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a tough one as the first time a friend and I visited here I thought the service was great, the food was great, the prices were acceptable and the location to go to a concert at Roger's Stadium (or show at the Queen E) couldn't be beat. However, this most recent visit was decidedly different. My friends and... More

After a long day sightseeing we were tired and decided to take a chance on the restaurant coupled to the Georgian Hotel. We had the Chicken Marsala, the Halibut and the Tiramisu for desert. We split a salad for a starter. The meal was well beyond our expectations and the Tiramisu was the best ever. The Meal was served hot... More

I drive by this place every day, but never noticed it. Booked dinner for 2 and were pleasantly surprised- nice room, good service, and good food. It's just off the lobby of the adjoining hotel so is a bit busy if you're sitting near the entrance. Ask for a spot closer to the back. Room was very lively but not... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
