I wouldn't rush back to Acme, but I did like it when I was there. It's solid diner food, but because it's in Gastown it's not necessarily diner prices. Everyone in our group liked his/her meal, but no one was amazed by it. The pie...More

- 4 times in a week for lunch or breakfast - fun, funky and great food! The people are extraordinary - make sure you sit at the counter to enjoy the buzz and activity!

I would rate this place a zero because the staff working there were really unmotivated and uneducated about customer satisfaction. The guy at the counter would not even answer questions properly and when we asked a lady to later warm up our dessert she literally...More

Sorry for the mixup regarding the heating of your dessert. I think the confusion started when you ordered food to go, then sat yourself at the counter. We are a full-service restaurant with table service and a sign asking that you wait to be seated,...More

My most favourite place in town! I highly recommend to wait if there is a line up! It is totally worth it! For all of you who need to eat gluten free they probably have the best homemade gluten free bread I've had in Vancouver!

Thanks to TA reviews, stopped by here for dinner after we had strolled through Gastown upon our arrival in Vancouver. On the fringe of Gastown, this diner was a real gem. The menu was diverse and interesting. My husband went with meatloaf dinner, I chose...More

Acme is one of my favourite spots for lunch in Vancouver's rapidly gentrifying downtown Eastside. There are a lot of restaurants in the Gastown area, and Acme is on the fringe of that cluster. Not hipster, not pretentious, just great food in a warm inviting...More

Popped in for breakfast as recommended by a local. Was not disappointed. Cooked freshly and well served, plenty to eat and great value for money

I have been eating at this restaurant for several years on a weekly basis. The reason is simple. The food is great! Breakfast lunch and dinner. All fresh with plenty of variety on the menu. The lunch specials and Chef features are always a treat!...More

Awesome early bird special, free breakfast of equal or lesser value if you order before 9am weekdays (10am weekends and holidays) food was very good!

I don't think so. We came for breakfast but ended up with lunch. Turkey, grill cheese and meatloaf sandwiches were ordered with bacon mac & cheese, broccoli slaw and chips. Excellent choices but the rest of the menu was great too which made for hard...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

SERVING BREAKFAST ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! Located just East of the Woodward's complex on Hastings Street in the historic Paris Block. Open every day of the year aside from December 24, 25 & 26. Excellent food made to order, and all pies and pastries baked from scratch, in-house.
