We walked by this restaurant on Valentine's day and found it too packed to enter. We went back the next night and still had to wait for a table. It was packed with young people - mostly Japanese! The barbecue was very good. The young waitress was friendly and helpful. This is not a quiet romantic place but a good... More

This place is fantastic. The service is fast, the food is delicious and the staff are wonderful. The prices are good, but if you can come during happy hour, it is super cheap! It's a great place to socialize and bbq your own food to your own liking. Love love love this place and highly recommend.

We were in town for Christmas so thought we would skip the traditional christmas celebrations and head here for lunch. YUM we had great service and great food. Highly recommend. We didn't do the BBQ but ordered off the menu and found the prices to be very reasonable.

We came here for lunch and I was very impressed.. The food was excellent, right down to the dessert. We had the kabuki order for 3 with side dishes (steamed pork dumplings were my favourites) and sake. The decor is cozy and inviting, the service is good. You have to have someone always paying attention to the meat on the... More

Ordered a C$75 3-person course plus 2 appys, ox tongue platter & kobe-style steak. Bill came to C$170+. Taste was good, but it's actually quite expensive. Service was so-so. Very good atmosphere though. Parking underground was C$7.

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
