I usually have far too many burgers when on holiday but this place at least had something a bit different to the standard fare. Opted for the salmon burger and it was excellent. Onion rings for starter also good. As a bonus, I enjoyed looking...More

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a drink because it didn't seem to be swarming with people. It was a little bit dive bar-ish, which we really liked. The drink menu was full of old classics like a sex on the beach and...More

Nipped in here by off chance for a quick refreshment or two and a few snacks to fuel us in some more trekking around the city, and what a little gem this place is! Bar staff are really attentive and friendly, and on top of...More

This little bar is on the same corner as the steam clock and worth a visit for simple food and lovely craft beers. The menu is not extensive but offers a reasonable range of food for most tastes and the portions are not too big...More

A much tasted lunch in a very good location. A full menu and cordial service was the perfect recipe for a very nice lunch.

My son wanted sushi, and this place was recommended by the hotel staff. Best Asian food I've ever had anywhere. We've been on the search for Udon noodles here locally, because the kids (and I) went crazy for the soup. The place has a hipster...More

Had a drink here while waiting for our table at the Water Street bar over the road, the local brewed beer here is very good, it has a certain charm about it with football scarves and memorabilia from around the world there.

Met with friends while visiting Vancouver here and really enjoyed it. They have a terrific patio with a great view of the steam clock. Nice laid back place.

I can't say anything about the food, because I didn't even get to see any!! We sat for 30 minutes and never even had a drink order taken. The menu was already on the table and was dirty, and the whole place looks pretty run...More

We came here for an afternoon lunch and there were already 4-5 tables filled with customers. This restaurant is located near the Steam Clock. We ordered a Reuben sandwich and a Buffalo chicken wrap and it was actually pretty good. However, portion size was just...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
