It took at least 10 minutes to work out how to take my money. They said it was a new system so I waited it out. July 19th 9pm we sat at a table and ordered drinks,(3 adults) they arrived and we were enjoying a wonderful chat when a cockroach runs right across the table. we are freaking at his point and in hind sight should have walked out right then....Thinking it was an isolated incident we decided to stay and told the manager about it, while talking with him another roach was on the armrest of my chair, again I brushed it to the floor and he killed it with his shoe. He did offer to move us to another table but at this point we were fine. our meal arrived and was very good however the roaches kept coming another on the floor this time, we finished and got out of there. Dated March 20 Today I took a stroll after a full day of self isolation during a global pandemic and noticed that this ONE restaurant on Robson offered in-store dining and patio dining with the restaurant 1/2-3/4 full and patrons (shame on them) within 2...meters of each other and many of them senior. This is ONE day after the city of Vancouver had issued a city wide state of emergency in order to FORCE restaurants to shut down for take out only service with the threat of prosecution as businesses were not abiding. There were one week of warnings to all restaurant and this restaurant was the ONLY one on the block which remained opened for patrons to dine in. I called the restaurant inquire why they were still offering in store dining and the lady who answered said they had until 12 am to comply and that they were within guidelines. Seeing how customers were talking to each other in close proximity on the patio suggests otherwise. I strongly suggested how serious the situation is and how all of our decisions have deadly effects on each other. I informed them their restaurant was behind a seniors home that is experience an outbreak two days ago. She didn't know or understand the gravity of the situation. She said that "I was wasting her time and promptly hung up on me" Sorry COCO RICO , times are tough but LIVES ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIVELIHOOD. I stopped here for happy hour - they have a good deal on drinks, even double well drinks are discounted, and the server was friendly.

Great position on Robson St, popular bar/restaurant. Nice to try some local beer. Beef stroganoff was really good. Lots of choice on the menu. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Good prices.

We tried the Coco Rico Cafe for lunch and found it wanting. It boasts a well stocked bar and possibly it exists more for that than for its food. Salads were over whelmed with a strong-favoured dressing and some fish was over-cooked and dry. Give...this cafe a miss, there are far better eating places on Robson Street.More
