I visited here for the first and last time. It seems a popular spot, busy with a vibrant atmosphere. I had calamari which I personally found very tough and did not enjoy. I ordered a glass of red wine and was horrified to be given...More

I had what turned out to be brunch at Chewie's and wish there was something between "average" and "very good" to rate it. The food was very tasty, I had hoped to try their Oyster Po'boy, as listed on the menus they gave us, and...More

Had a great informal meeting here with some great people . Staff are awesome and the food is delicious. Definitely making the drive from Tsawwassen again to sample some more items from this menu!

Both Chewies are good, the one here by Kits Beach on Yew, and the other down at Coal Harbour. A buck an oyster for the locals (and why eat anything else), and a good price on local beers from the tap. The menu leans to...More

My husband and I were staying in the area and love the vibe of Yew street in Vancouver. We happened upon Chewies and thought we'd give it a try. The servers were efficient and friendly, the atmosphere was casual and a tad noisy. We enjoyed...More

We had a great dinner, casual dinner. The food was delicious, the service was prompt, and we enjoyed the energy of the people there. By the way, the Chewies that I am reviewing is in Kitsilano (mispelled above).

I've been here twice for brunch now and both times left super happy. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles and if you're going to make a Sunday Funday out of it - order the bottomless mimosas...because bottomless mimosas, need I say more!

We decided to try this place for my husband's birthday with the family but were not sure if it would be ok with a 3 year old. We came shortly after opening at 5:30 on a Sunday. The hostess was very friendly and inviting and...More

Delicious food which flavours complement one another, I would high suggest getting the pork belly at was quite possibly my favourite bit of food I've had in the past month. Atmosphere was chill but relatively loud. Great service though.

buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving
their mark on the number of organic restaurants and
fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of

Either casual or business casual are fine. You won't be out of place either way. We've been there a few times and there have been both very casually dressed tourists/locals as well as people who are a bit dressed up and who... More
