We loved Fable; the food was excellent, was prepared very quickly (under 10 minutes), and the portions were very generous. All this for prices that are very reasonable, especially for an expensive part of Vancouver. There are houses selling for 10+ million in this area and fable is charging $25 for an entree? Crazy. We can't recommend Fable enough; it's... More

We had dinner here the other night. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helpful with making menu choices. We really enjoyed all the courses we had and the portions were generous. I had the pork chop for my main course and it was succulent and delicious. my husband had the beef stiletto which was tasty but the meat... More

Went for an early dinner with reservations(recommended)- great fresh baked; special pasta dish nightly. Best to go with whatever are the specials.

The food is great, we had Benedict and French toast, they have boozy brunch as well, double shot Caesar and Highball for 4. The experience was good.

My family and I were at Fable for dinner. We really enjoyed everything. The food was so delicious. The staff was very nice and thoughtful especially Tera our waitress who had special attention for our toddler. We will go back whenever we come back to Vancouver.

We came back to Fable after being there 2 years ago. The food was excellent, although the restaurant was very noisy on a Friday night. We had great appetizers and mains and enthusiastic service. Definitely need a reservation or be prepared to wait.

We went there to celebrate a family birthday. The service and food recommendations from our server was excellent. The food preparation, presentation and taste was equally as good.

I loved the food in this restaurant. Great gluten free options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that it is very noisy but that has probably to do with its popularity and the young crowd. Otherwise, highly recommended.

This was my 3rd visit to Fable. The first was lunch a couple of years ago and then dinner last winter. After my last review, the manager suggested I complete the trifecta and come for breakfast/brunch. So, when I visited Vancouver last month, we went for it. So we had the scrambled eggs brioche, the omelette with salad and rustic... More

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
