We have walked by this little place in our area many times and finally decided to try it. We were not disappointed-- tabbouleh salad and chicken shawarma were fresh and tasty. Staff were pleasant and "Covid aware". Will go again.
Outstanding middle eastern food. good vegetarian options, very good hummus. A must try if you are in the Kerrisdale area of Vancouver. I love good food and I eat there when I get a craving for a chicken shawarma wrap.
We went there for lunch and eat very well indeed. We even took home leftovers much to my other daughters delight. The ingredients were fresh, the flavours very tasty and servings generous. We will definitely go there again when we visit Vancouver in the future.
You order at the counter, and your food is brought to whatever table you choose. The fellow who took the orders kept everything running smoothly. My Greek salad was tasty. The combo plates were bargains with all the Greek foods. A pizza on pita bread...with pomegranate was outstanding. All food seemed fresh and lovingly prepared with generous servings. Obviously this shop has a large number of local regulars.More
My friends and I discovered this eatery while shopping in Kerrisdale. We wanted simple, reasonable, and tasty food without having to spend time waiting to be served nor have it cost too much. This 'order your own' approach works well for us. There are lots...of single and combination plates available, and the option to substitute items is terrific. Sharing one meal is more than enough to fill you up if not too hungry and if in doubt extra portions are always an option. The food comes quickly and tastes good enough for us to continue coming back whenever we are in Kerrisdale. Unfortunately this area of town is getting really expensive and places such as this one catering to the normal wage-earner may not last much longer, which would be a pity. There are two wonderful produce places nearby, one called Kin's Farm where the people are absolutely lovely and the samples of food sold there is always available. Great place to stop for fresh produce if ever in the neighbourhood.More
