Went with friends after work. Everyone commented that they loved their meal and their drinks. I had my usual quinoa bowl with avocado. My friends all had different burgers and said they were delish. Tap and barrel never disappoints.

A really lovely place - great location, very good food and a lovely buzz atmosphere. Family visiting really like the setting, near the bird sculptures, views across, ( also good to sit in when your little kids are playing in the community centre) and a...good walk around the water after - sometimes catch sight of the Science World lights coming on or a dragon boat going past - Very quintessential Vancouver - top relaxed spotMore

Been here over the years for a variety of reasons from birthday to business and have yet to have a bad thing to say about them. The upstairs with the patio fire pits are great for the cooler nights, the downstairs patio is dog friendly...as long as the dog is not on the patio, and the staff is always helpful. The menu is varied with something for everyone. Tap & Barrel has multiple locations across the lower mainland so you can expect the same quality at this location as the others.More

Great place at LOLO. I just read a review of a guy who should not leave his house. He can buy a $9.00 bottle of wine and drink it at home. The price of the glass includes many things. You can also drink water. Our...waiter is always Gianni, we make sure there is a table available in his section.More

Waitress was so much in a hurry we barely had time to order or say anything for that matter.Went there for happy hour and wanted to be seated near water side. Lots of tables but waitress said no, that area is closed till later. Ordered...wine and a snack burger. Burger came and it was quite obvious that it had been microwaved. bun all hot and doughy, plate really hot and burger meat could have come from a box from superstore. SO Yuck! asked wait staff if food was microwaved, they said no. Bull is what i sad. They took burger off drinks that i ordered and my other 3 friends said no to other food. Bad service and bad food!!! wont go back.More

We were there yesterday after watching a concert and I was with friends that I haven’t seen for a long time. Some were coming from the okanagan, and some in Prince George. We were a group of 9 people, and it seemed like the resto...wasn’t prepared to take a large group so late, it was around 11pm. They gave us a table at the 2nd floor and was served by a gentleman. I’m writing this review because of this person who served us who gave us a WOW service. It’s been a long time since I was thus impressed. It didn’t seem like he was going out of his way so it seemed like this was his usual manner of serving people. He was very patient with us, very sharp and super with customer service. He was just amazing and I hear everyone in the group making comments to themselves that their server was so good, and I felt the same way. He seated us and offered to get something started, and when the rest of the group came, he gave some space even if he was in the middle of taking someone else’s order. He came back after a few minutes and took everyone else’s order. Our friend was missing a spoon for their soup and he was apologetic and was prompt about it. Another friend didn’t like her drink, and he took it back without question. They ran out of the other drink she liked so it he offered something similar. Very thoughtful. He looked tired but it didn’t affect his service. He gave us the last call for food and drinks. And when he brought our bill, he was prepared to ring us our bill and split who were together etc. since we’re a big group, there was an automatic gratuity. But when he was punching in our total, he would go over the details individually with the person, and there were a couple incorrect charges but he was swift in resolving it on the spot. When it came to gratuity, there were options to give more but he’d skip it himself and explain that there’s an automatic charge already and we do need to worry about it. We would have wanted to give more. I didn’t get his name and we weren’t able to thank him before we left since he was busy ringing in another table. But I do hope that management knows what a wonderful service you provide and that you get credit for it. You deserve it. You exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for contributing to the wonderful evening we had.More

I was at your restaurant yesterday and I have to mention how outstanding your staff is. Our server was friendly and attentive and another server noticed we needed some more tortilla chips and brought them before we could ask. This really impressed me and I wanted...to take the time to share a very positive experience. I have noticed that post covid, customer service generally has declined everywhere but your restaurant staff are excellent.More

Went here as a family. It was busy, on a weekend in spring break. They wrote our name down for a reservation. We waiting 45 min, walked back to the restaurant and our name wasn’t even on the list. Thankfully they were able to seat...us right away. The food was okay. The portions for kids meals are huge, but the mac and cheese was very dry and bland. Family restaurants need to have more healthy options for kids. It was a beautiful day so we sat out on the covered, heated patio and that was lovely. Service was good for a busy restaurant.More

We decided to have lunch at this location prior to attending an Arts Club play . Vancouver’s unusual extended summer weather made the experience all the more pleasurable. Our host named Calvin ushered us to the second floor by elevator & sat us in a...delightful corner table overlooking False Creek! Talk about first class service! 👍🏻 Lauren , our server, was equally spectacular! The food did not disappoint, either. When we dine here again, & we will, the second floor will be our preferred space.More

Oh what can we say. Great setting. Lots of people milling about, it was the weekend. The "bar" (what else do you call it) was extremely busy. Does no one cook at the weekend ? In the end we couldn't see it's appeal. Nothing actually...wrong with the place but it served standard fare, the prices a little more than other places, just nothing unique. Not sure we would make the effort to go out to it, if we hadn't been walking past.More
