Authentically Italian pizza. I was accompanied by two Italians in the group of friends and they confirmed that it is virtually the same thing. Hot pizza, quick, super friendly service, quick and kind. Great and diverse types of beers are served. Ample space and wood furnace, of course. It does not accept reservations and is good to arrive early. You are waiting on the outside and although there is a heater on the outside for those who have to stay in the cold of Vancouver, it's a little annoying because it doesn't reach everyone. Don't leave town without seeing this pizzeria.

We (party of 2) arrived on a Thursday night without reservations and had to wait for 30 minutes but it was well worth it! Our Caprese salad was decent but nothing to rave about since the tomatoes were tasteless (out of season). Otherwise, the meal (polpette (meatballs) and Napoletana pizza) was spectacular. Hip, trendy vibe with amazing service. Will definitely return!!

Via Tevere is still as excellent as I remember. It’s the pizza in this tiny causal neighbourbood joint that makes it worth the while. Neapolitan pizza is what they do. I can highly recommend the tricolore - fior di latte, ricotta, San Marzano tomatoes, basil walnut pesto, and Gran Padano. Drizzle it with chili oil and you have a winner. Finish it with Graffe con Nutella (donut-like fritters) and a tiramisu to share, some Grappa, and what can I say, it’s a decadent treat. Highly recommend if you’re a pizza fiend.

If you ever had fantastic Neapolitan pizza in Italy, this is the place. I introduced my girlfriend to Via Tevere and she thought she was in heaven! We ordered my favourites- the Prosciutto e Funghi and Prosciutto e Rucola (fresh arugula). The size was more than ample as it is still tasty as a leftover. The pizzas come in one size and you cut the slices yourself with scissors provided. You can see them making the crust by hand with toppings and the brick oven is located inside the restaurant. My girlfriend was so impressed that she ordered another whole pizza to take home! The salads looked delicious but we chose to save room for their homemade tiramisu. We had no problem gobbling it up.
We came here on a weekend and it was busy. Unfortunately no reservations. You can either leave your number or wait outside. No need to worry about waiting in the cold on a rainy day as there’s a bench outside underneath the heated lamp. It was definitely worth the wait. They also have patio seating behind the restaurant with heat lamps to keep you warm. Great ambiance, great service, and great pizza. We’ll be back!

It is located in the middle of a pretty cozy neighborhood, where there are not many shops or tourists, so you pretty much have to know about the place to end up eating there as it is definitely not close to the tourist attractions. The pizza was delicious, made like in Italy and it was also pretty fast service which was appreciated too. It can be pretty crowded fast so I would recommend arriving early and ideally going there during the week since the weekend it is pretty booked.

Busy place! We were there right at 5pm (when they opened) and there was a line up around the block. Show up early.
Food: The pizza was good. We had two different pizza’s one of which was the Vesuvio. It was tasty and came to us extremely fast, within 10 minutes of sitting down. (Maybe too fast?) Have I had better? Yes. Was it good? Yes. We also had the carbonara past which I would rate as excellent.
Service: This is where we were let down. Our waitress must have been having a bad day. She had an attitude problem. She was curt, short, non conversational, actually rolled her eyes at us when we asked for extra napkins, and overall was just going through the motions. Perhaps she’d be better suited for Little Ceasers?
Overall, the pizza was good, the atmosphere was nice if not busy, and the service was poor.
We paid around $80 before tip for two pizzas, a pasta, and two drinks.

We arrived around 4:30pm on a hot afternoon. The indoor dining room still had these plastic dividers in between tables and really didn't like the ambience. So we decided to be seated in the patio in the back of the restaurant. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the table.
The patio is enclosed, so it was a bit stuffy but we didn't mind it so much. The grape vines provide enough cover from the sun.
The pizza is as good as always. We had 3 pizzas among 4 adults and that was plenty with a bottle of the house red wine.
Good friendly service.

Stopped here for dinner after a day at the PNE. I’ve know about this place for a long time, so I’m glad I got a chance to try it.
It was a nice day so we decided to eat outside since it felt safer. We ordered a feature boscaiola cream based pizza and a margherita. Both were very good pizzas. The ingredients tasted fresh and authentic, and crust was really good. Also tried the trio dessert. I liked the tiramisu and the graffe, but thought the cake was only so-so.
Service was straightforward but attentive. When it’s not busy, lots of free street parking.
I would go back.

Amazing!!! No wonder there’s a queue outside! Best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever eaten in my whole life (anywhere in the world!) and the pizza is almost as good. Excellent food, amazing service, a real hidden gem and amazing value for money.

Pizza pl only open at 530pm. Street parking available in the neighborhood.
Been here 2x thus year, Nov and Dec. Ordered their meat balls 2x. So so good. Tender n soft.
Loved the margarita with the anchovies.
Super affordable. Authentic Italian pizza.
Not too crazy about the tiramisu. It's ok, no coffee or alcohol taste.

I come from south of Italy, and since I am here I didn’t find a very good pizzeria.
When I heard about this pizzeria, I wanted to go to see, and when I ate the pizza I was sure for a couple seconds that I was in Napoli.
The pizza was great!

Absolutely amazing spot for pizza. The food is unreal and the service is quick and friendly. The carbonara and pizzas were so good. The meatballs were unreal too. The desserts were so good as well. Highly recommend checking out this place. Come early or expect a wait as this place is walk in only.

they won't seat you until everyone arrives; why should anyone wait bc others are late? i could understand not taking food orders until everyone arrives, but restos make most of their profit from drinks, which seated patrons, waiting for others to arrive, will order; obviously no one in this resto took courses in the resto field; pathetic, go outside and wait until everyone arrives; wow

When an Italian is abroad, very often after some time... withdrawal symptoms 😁 What makes you feel at home the most is pizza! Well, if you are Italian and even if you are not, but want to eat a truly excellent pizza napoletana in Vancouver then you cannot miss Via Tevere. I am Italian, I come from same Region than Naples so I can fully and sincerely recommend this restaurant. Prices are definitely right and pizza is not an imitation but it is as it should. Eat here and enjoy!
