We were visiting Vancouver with family in October for a month and had the chance to try this restaurant. The atmosphere is great and staff are super friendly. I'm not a Thai food fan but I enjoyed the Panang Curry and Cashew Chicken. If you're looking somewhere private and quiet and you like Thai food, then you can't go wrong... More

I live near by and tried this place a few times before.. I don't like to write bad reviews but I really thought that my last visit was not very pleasant. we waited a long time for a very average dish and did not enjoy our overall experience. sorry, won't come back again.

We tend to go to other places in the neighbourhood since this tends to be too quick....they get the food to you really fast and we are in and out in a flash. However, the food is very good, the Tiger beer is cheap, and the little outside deck is great for people watching. Service is ok.....not overly friendly, but... More

We found this restaurant truly by chance while wandering the walks, main and side streets in the Kitsilano neighborhood. It's a Saturday midday and most of the local places were packed with locals enjoying a leisurely day. Be prepared to walk up a hill from Cornwall to find this gem. Since we love Thai and it wasn't busy, why not... More

We craved for Thai food and this one is closed by so we went to try it. We ordered spring roll and tom yum goong for appetizer. The filling of the spring roll is disappointing and the plum sauce, well..very bland. The tom yung goong is not spicy and sour as it should be. For main course, we ordered Cashew... More

I went there with my g/f for early dinner after a long walk. I ordered the Pad Si Ew and she had a spinach dish with tofu and a peanut sauce. The plates did not arrive at the same time. I had mine a few minutes before. I looked at the other tables and no one was getting their orders... More

I went here after it first opened for a lunchtime special take out. Things may have improved since then, but I haven't been back so can't be sure. I had a panang curry which was very gelatinous and tasted like peanut butter mixed with thai curry paste. I very rarely throw away food, preferring to save for lunches, etc but... More

The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is just okaym the place is quite small and there are only a few tables on the patio, but the food (especially the yellow curry and chicken with cashew nuts) is really tasty and decently priced! They also have South East Asian beers (for example Singha and Tiger beer) which is always a fun... More

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
