We are staying in a hotel very near and saw Dinesty. They were making dumplings in the kitchen which is on the window. It all looked clean and professional. We had to wait a few minutes for a table (this place is deservedly popular) we...More

After a work week in Van, stayed over the weekend to hang out with a friend (and eat!). Since being introduced to XLB in Edmonton, I’m a big fan and anytime in a locale that may have good ones, I’ll seek these soup dumplings out....More
It's been my first time in this restaurant; the menu has a good variety of choice. I ordered squid in ginger sauce along with fried pastry of duck; both were average. Service is fast and friendly ☺️price is reasonable. I'll definitely com back to try...More
We're glad for the meal we enjoyed. Thankfully we decided to stick to this place duing an incredibly busy weekday lunchtime, though we nearly gave up to the long wait (which was estimated almost precisely to the minute). The staff do their best with the...More
We visited 4 Chinese restaurants in Vancouver during 5 days just to try out 小笼包 and other Chinese dishes, except for Long’s Noodle at which we arrived too late and 小笼包 was sold out. The Dinesty was really good, more modern decor than others, food...More
The food is good, but nothing extraordinary. I have tasted better Chinese food. The tables are very close each other, and it is difficult to have a quiet dinner, it is crowded and the environment is too noisy
Good service, ingredients and cooking for a fair price. Given that I believe Chinese is the only food worthy of note in Vancouver. The rest is totally overhyped and overrated. Dinesty does a good job in spite of strong competition.
We were looking for a dim sum restaurant and were referred here. This is not a dim sum restaurant. The food was at par, best. Newly renovated, and with all the raves on their dumplings, we actually didn't enjoy them. Won't recommend or be back.
