The omnivore tasting menu with wine pairings was a tasty and interesting meal, served at a leisurely (but not slow!) pace over maybe 1.5 hours. The food was all well prepared and presented elegantly. The outside space is a small casual deck with 4-5 table,...More

Terrible with appalling service!!! Omnivore seasonal chef's menu: Both plates of Ling cod were raw, pink & stringy bits were still attached in the centre. The waitress (owner's wife) was not one bit apologetic about it & had a poor attitude in resolving it. The...More

My husband and I went to the Farmer’s Apprentice recently on a trip to Vancouver. The waitress was very friendly; when we inquired what an orange wine was, she brought over two different ones for us to try. Same with a beer on tap. Very...More

Absolutely terrific meal, with thoughtfully prepared and perfectly executed seasonal dishes. Everything was delicious, and perfect blend of meat, fish, and vegetable on the tasting menu.

We attend one of their special dinner events and it was delicious. David always has a creative menu and really approaches his food with creativity. You can pay corkage if you prefer your own selection. The service was excellent as always and they would describe...More

if you are a foodie, you would enjoy your evening and food experience at the Farmer's Apprentice. I like to eat but I am not a foodie. Therefore, $65 and $45 per person for a few small plates of food tasting does not represent good...More

Cosy little restaurant. Wait staff were very knowledgeable. Ordered the prix fix tasting menu with wine pairings and was not disappointed. They were even able to keep one of our meals vegan while the other had meat options. Wonderful, flavourful foods! So glad I tried...More

We ate at the Farmer's Apprentice for our last dinner in Vancouver, after reading about the restaurant in Bon Appetit. We are so glad we came. We opted for the four course menu. One of us had the lamb, one had fish and another opted...More

$200.00; one glass of wine each. We prefer the lunch choices; the set menu at lunch is wonderful! $80.00 range for two. A special treat we just gave as a treat to friends.
