Falafel, King is just down the street from my friend's place so we eat here quite frequently. The food is always tasty and good value. The owners have followed directives for distancing and the required hand sanitizer, plastic barriers etc are all in place. There...is very limited seating but it is super easy to do take-out and go down to the park or beach to eat.More

Keep Gastown, its for tourists who don't know any better. Eating out anywhere in Vancouver is usually an expensive trip. So discovering the Falafel King on Robson Street was a real blessing. Best, you can eat in & sit by the window & watch the...world go by or take out. This is top tasty food & sensible prices that you will defiantly return to time & again. Expect to pay appox $17 for two massive portions. or expect to pay upwards of at least $60-70 for two plates of average quality food most anywhere else in Vancouver. Your call. Ok you are not in a Gouret Restaurant but at these prices who cares. Gets my vote anyday. Ps: In our 44 day trip to Canada this meal was one of the better food we expierenced. It was so good we came twice in the 4 days in Vancouver. Lastly there are other realy good & cheap cafe type ethnic cafes near to Falafal King all in competition with each other which is good for you.More

we were in town and in between doc appts. we finished our walk and thought we'd try this spot. so glad we did! a great meal and a big portion. small place. sat outside, which is great for people watching. a similar spot on the...same street was a disappointment awhile back, so i was happy to find this place. i wish the owners well, they deliver great food for an amazing price!More

im from the uk and have a go-to falafel place back home, and have now moved out to canada but this place has made me very very happy. the falafels were really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. lots of sauce,...fresh salad, SO much hummus, very very filling and delicious and think this will be my regular spot for falafel now for sure :)More

This is definitely a good option when you are craving for a falafel or a good shawarma, however there is a point that need to be improved asap: the falafel is not made to order, they use the microwave to heat it and it would...make a huge difference.More

A little hole in the wall restaurant that has amazing food and huge portions for a great price! Food was also made well but fast!! We were walking down Denman street and stopped at this joint and I was impressed. Really enjoyed my meal here...and will definitely be coming back. There are options for vegetarians too!More

I've been coming to this place for over a decade, it was closed for a few months but recently opened again due to renovations so I was super happy. They honestly make the best chicken shawarma, maybe its the chicken or the sauces that go...with it. Portions are great, lots of chicken and its always nicely cooked. Always feel stuffed after. The plate consists of chicken, rice, tabbouleh, hummus and pita bread. A winner every time, never get tired of it. Staff and service are great. Do come by and check it out if you haven't.More

Seriously, I can't put into words how good this place is. I'll regularly trek downtown from the north shore just to get the chicken shawarma plate--ask for extra hot sauce to really complete the dish. Huge portions that give me 1-2 days of leftovers. I'm...a picky eater and have tried other falafel/shawarma places based on my love of Falafel King and I've discovered that nope, I don't really love shawarma, I just love this place! Service leaves a bit to be desired but that's half of what I love about it, if you know the history of the place. Do yourself a favour and try this food. You won't be disappointed!More

You do not have to as it is more Lebanese fast food not finer dining.
