I went here with a friend from work. It’s a block west from the skytrain, Broadway Station. Frances ordered a rice bowl with egg and I got the chicken udon. Everything was fabulous. Service is great and we didn’t wait long for our food. If traveling to Vancouver, this place is worth a stop while your on Commercial Drive.

Yummy food all the time. When you want a quick fix of chinese food, this is one restaurant I'd recommend. This place never disappoints. Sorry I forgot to take picture of our order of sushi but it was delicious. And we still had leftovers to take home.

OK, so I haven't been here in a few years.... the table arrangement has changed, the menu has changed, the staff has changed, the prices have definitely changed.... but the restaurant name has remained. Service: Quick and efficient Ambiance: much improved with the new table arrangement Food: Not bad, but a strange combination of items in the lunch Bento box.... salad would be nice.... Price: Too high for this area and for the actual food delivered. I used to have good memories of this place..... time to look for a new favourite

Went there with some colleagues this weekend, we were unsure as we walked in the door how many people would be in our group, asked the waitress to give us a minute while we figured it out. She impatiently asked us over and over and then said, 'I asked how many in your group, I asked 6 times already' and then called us stupid people. Food is very average, there are many better places and the service is the worst I have ever experienced

We were going to the RIO for a movie , and came across this little surprise ! It’s next door from the Rio . It was pretty quiet , service was great , the Anahi beer ice cold served in chilled glass . The crunchy roll and shrimp tempura delicious. A great find

My 1st time to Broadway Sushi, surprisingly pleased with the sushi and service here. Always skeptic about restaurants close to a sky train as they get busy with its location despite the quality of food. But this little place surprised me. I ordered their special for the day, BC roll and Fotomaki, both were freshly made and tasted great. Will definitely come back.

We had the chicken bento box for lunch. The presentation looked ok. The chicken was quite tasty. I substituted the California roll for the the yam tempura roll. Overall it was an ok lunch.

Since it is just a block away from the Commercial-Broadway station, Broadway Sushi Station is a very convenient place to eat especially for those who don't have time to cook for themselves anymore. They serve great sushi combos as well as ramen and korean food that are both new to the menu. One of my favorites would be their Japchae - Korean noodle dish. They are very friendly and would always welcome you once you step in their restaurant and assist you to find a place to sit. They also never miss the chance to get to know you or ask how's your day. All in all, I really recommend this restaurant because it's very convenient, the food is great and the management is very friendly.

Planning family dinners for birthdays is a challenge now that the "kids" are adults. For yesterday's birthday dinner, I had to get creative on choosing the location so that as many of the kids and their significant others could make it. I found a great sushi place right at Broadway Station in Vancouver, aptly named Broadway Station Sushi! We discovered this place a few months ago because my daughter had a show at The Rio. I loved the OMG roll so much and noticed that there were many other innovative sushi creations worth ordering. I took a chance to see if they would take reservations. I called just the morning and asked if they took reservations. The girl who answered was very friendly and she asked another person if she could take the reservation, so I'm not sure if they normally take reservations. I was thankful they accommodated us. Ambiance We were welcomed right away. The girl offered to put the cupcakes in the fridge, which I thought was very kind. We were served green tea immediately and it was filled promptly throughout the night and they also brought us a pot of tea as well. The music playing was just the right volume for enjoyment and having conversations at the table for our party of 10. Our party seemed to enjoyed the music selections as well. The washrooms were not the cleanest. What we ordered: Tuna & Salmon Combo, served with Miso Soup Beef Teriyaki on a hot plate, rice served on the side and miso soup Seared Tuna Don: sashimi (raw fish) on top of sushi rice with ponzu sauce Gyoza: 5 pieces deep fried cabbage and pork dumpling OMG Roll: is a deep fried roll, deep fried salmon, prawn tempura, crabmeat, cucumber, avocado, topped with real crab 2 Popcorn Roll: cucumber, avocado, crabmeat inside the Roll, topped with yam flakes, surrounded by deep fried scallaops Spicy Tuna Roll: Soy Chicken Karage Don: rice bowl, miso soup included Philadelphia Roll: cream cheese, cucumber, avocado inside the roll, topped with smoked salmon Lady Dragon Roll: salmon tempura and cucumber inside the Roll, topped with avocado. Bulgogi: Broadway Station Sushi also has Korean food. Bulgogi is a popular Korean dish. Thinly sliced prime marinated in house special sauce, served with rice Spicy Tofu Roll: fried tofu cucumber, avocado, sweet and chilli sauce Veggie Dragon Roll: yam tempura on the inside, topped with avocado Salmon Teriyaki Bento, rice and miso soup included Spinach Gomae Salmon Fillet Teriyaki: I ordered a salmon fillet teriyaki for my dad, for the next day's meal. What I personally ate. My daughter and I shared 3 items from the menu because it's so hard to choose just one. If I had to choose I would have ordered the Popcorn Roll, but since we were sharing, I convinced my daughter to order the OMG Roll and Popcorn Roll and we added a Spicy Tuna Roll. I really enjoyed the hot green tea, but I also wanted to order a beer. Everyone else's food looked amazing and everyone said it was good. I could see hey were enjoying themselves. I would definitely come back again. I have some definite favourite items, but there are still so many other yummy items to order next time. Service Friendly and efficient. Green tea refills were timely. The waitress also offered to take our group photo! Will definitely be back and happy to recommend the restaurant to friends and family. The

This is a great Japanese restaurant that is informal and a great meeting place for a relaxed meal at an affordable price. It is set in a diverse part of Vancouver and easily accessible by transit from many directions. The crossroads are Broadway + Commercial and quite conveniently two doors away from the Rio Theatre. I have pre-ordered my lunch here several times and it is always ready. The sushi bar is up front and the staff here welcome all diners as soon as they step in the door. The food is always fresh, hot and served with a wonderful sense of respect and courtesy that is not often found nowadays in many establishments. From the Canada Line you can hop on the 99 Bus heading east to Commercial or you can catch the SkyTrain to the Broadway/Commercial intersection. It's worth the visit and I would recommend the delightful Japanese restaurant to everyone. I will be going back many times in the future.

Went here for lunch today. We ordered the sashimi beef and sashimi chicken bento box. Usually you get 8 rolls. I didn't want the California roll so got yam roll instead, the yam roll was not nicely presented, instead there were only 6 smaller rolls and the slices were not sliced the same thickness, they also charge an extra $1.00 for substitution. A year ago there were bean sprouts and lots of rice, now there is sliced lettuce and hardly any rice under the meats. Even the flavour of the beef and chicken have changed. The portions have also decreased, overall it is still a decent price for what you get.

A number of sushi places have popped up on or near Commercial Drive in recent years, and most of them are pretty good. Broadway Station Sushi isn't one of these--it's VERY good, and getting better. Regular improvements to the menu and decent prices have kept Broadway Sushi competitive with the others which are more visible. Their latest upgrade includes a missing element among eateries on "the Drive"--Korean food. While I already liked the sushi and tempura, the bibimbap was a real hit for me. No, I didn't see any of the traditional side dishes, but the 'stone bowl' full of rice and veggies, topped with an egg, and served with hot sauce on the side was entirely satisfying. Guests are always greeted, and fast, friendly service makes Broadway Sushi a great experience at a remarkably low price. Quite possibly the "most improved" restaurant on "the Drive." Located just west of Commercial Drive on Broadway. Look for the Rio Theatre, and keep walking. You'll be glad you did.

I had the teriyaki chicken/sashimi bento box and substituted the California roll for yam roll, my friend had the teriyaki chicken box. You get one prawn and 2 vegetable tempura. You get 2 slices of salmon and tuna which were ice cold which was very tasty. It is a nice comfortable place to have a quick lunch.

A hidden gem for sushi lovers! We always come here when we visit the Broadway Dental. It's always a treat we look forward to. Great sushi selection and great value bento boxes. It is a small place so not so easy for really big groups.
