My and my family tried this place last night and it was amazing. We had the vegetable pakoras and paneer pakoras to start and they were fresh seasoned to perfection. The staff was very friendly and polite seating and serving my family of 4. For...our main dishes we had the malai kofta and palak paneer with garlic naan. This was the best malai kofta I have ever tried. I have been to many indian restaurants before but never tasted malai kofta this good. The kofta were soft and fresh. For desert we had the mango ice cream and galab jamun, again very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place, it was very clean, staff were polite, food was delicious.More

Still kicking out good food but in apparently smaller portions. Naan was great. Pakoras (cauliflower) were good but i think i just prefer the plain ones. Samosas had a LOT of potato and not much of anything else. Mains were all good although the cashew...chicken dish tasted of coconut. Still, we fed 4 for under $85 pre-tip. I will go backMore

the food was OK. we had better Indian dishes in other places, but is wasn't bad. why I would not return- I paid cash for a take away and the bill ended with 12 cents... they automatically gave themselves a round up instead of down,,,...I would have left it anyway if they had a tip jar.. but instead they lost a future customer for good... never understand those businesses who for few cents risks loosing customers... Have not seen such behavior for a long long time in any business...More

Located a little south of the main heart of the Punjabi Market (49th Avenue and Main) but within walking distance. The restaurant offers quite decent and authentic Indian food and does a great takeout business. We had ordered the following dishes with our verdicts on...them: Vegetable samosa - pretty good although more crispy than a few other places; possibly a little overdone. Fish pakora - a little soft and a touch watery. Could be a little frozen before being thrown in the fryer or oil not hot enough. OK overall. Channa masala - delicious, great deal of flavour with a bit of ginger and not too spicy. Probably the best dish we had. Aloo Gobi - pretty good, a little weak on the flavouring; might try another vegetable dish next time. Still quite enjoyed it anyhow. Chicken Tikka - came out sizzling, meat of good quality. For us it was fine, but some people might find a little dry. You can always a side of curry sauce if needed. Breads and rice are excellent - would suggest the Onion kulcha. It was a good experience overall, service and value for money was pretty good. Would have no problem returning but might try some different dishes.More

We flew into Vancouver to catch our cruise and wanted to hit the 'Punjabi Market' and try some finger licking food. All cabs and reviews took us to 'Original Tandoori Grill'. Though the ambience was ok we were greeted with a great smile of welcome....I would highly recommend the Mango Cider, Zeera Lassi, Naans and specially Keema Naan. Even the daal and paneer were great. I think the Tandoori Chicken was a little dry but you can order the curry on the side. There is a direct bus from downtown for fraction of the cost. Take it for an awesome nap on the way back.More

We are visiting Toronto and decided to eat out. This restaurant was close-by. The ambience was great and the food delicious. Looks like family run business. The waitress was kind enough to bring me hot water the second time without me asking. I would recommend...families to the restaurantMore

Been going here for a couple of years. The food is incredible. Zero issues with it. Very tasty and high quality. The rogan josh and garlic naan is perfect. The service can see some massive delays though

Well worth the drive if you don't live in the neighborhood. The staff take pride in their food, and they should because it's delicious. Recommend the pakoras, garlic naan, chicken tikka, and any options in the butter or korma sauces.
