I love this place! The food is delicious, the service is really nice. It’s an authentic experience about Brazil! They also play really great Brazilian music!

We stopped by here on a whim at around 6:15 on a sunny long weekend Sunday evening. We were the only patrons, though it filled up soon afterwards. We had no idea what to expect, having never had Brazilian food before. We were greeted warmly,...and our order was taken promptly. We ordered the queijo pastel for our preschooler, and the bife acebolado and the bobo de camarao for us. The pastel was brought swiftly (never a bad thing when it’s destined for a ravenous 3 year old). Our meals came out soon after, and we were blown away. They were full of flavour and every bite was better than the last. I can’t speak to whether the food is authentic, as I have never had Brazilian before, but we will be back!More

Literally it took 2 hour and a half to bring the food. It's expensive AF It's really hot inside I was melting If you want to have a better lunch or dinner I would recommend you to go anywhere else.

Boteco Brasil represents a typical and classic Brazilian Pub. Very common in many big cities in Brazil Botecos (in plural) has a friendly and very informal environment, homemade food style and usually live Brazilian music. You can go there only for a coffee (cafe), desserts,...small plates to share or to order full meals. If you prefer you can go there only for drinks. I do recommend Feijoada dish and the tradicional Caipirinha drink.More

Awesome little Brazilian resteraunt! Super staff, chatted to us. Sunday brunch was amazing.very friendly and explained the meal to us. We had the moms omlette and the classic Brazilian breakfast. Both were very fresh and flavourful. Live music Definitely going back!!!

This authentic Brazilian restaurant(according to my Brazilian friends) occupies the ground floor of a house on a residential district of Vancouver east. It is a family restaurant decorated with Brazilian motifs. The dishes we ordered from spinach salad with strawberries and heart of palm green...salad to deep fried balls stuffed with chicken meat, beef chunks fried with onion served with crispy tasty fried and chicken parmigiana are all simply cooked and tasty. Caipirinha, the Brazilian lime drink with sugarcane liquor was refreshing and not as potent as Margaritas. For desserts, we ordered the egg custard, coconut and chocolate balls. All kind of sweet. On the night of our visit, there was a band that played music that made diners swing while eating. Recommended.More

I finally visited Boteco Brasil and could delight myself with Brazilian food and drink. Everything that I ordered was great. The only problem was that there was only ONE person getting the orders, serving, getting payment and cleaning! Poor girl!

I have been going to Boteco for a few years now. I have seen it grow and develop over the years. I was there last week when it was super busy. The staff was busting their butts trying to stay on top of it. Unfortunately...it was one of those days where it was much to busy and they couldn't keep up. This happens. It's happens to most small independent restaurants. The owner is gracious and always tries to accomadate the guests. I have always had a positive experience there. And have seen many people come back. If your looking for an authentic small restaurant experience and seek a community feel, then I suggest tying Boteco. This is as close to Brazil as you will get in Vancouver.More

It seemed like it was a really nice place with good live music. BUT... The took one hour and a half to bring the food. Their reason was that they were to crowded but the place isn't that big. When the food arrived it was...cold. Expensive cold and unflavored food. It's not worth it.More

I'm a Brazilian living in Vancouver and I went with my wife to remember the food from Brazil, but we left very disappointed. First, they took too long to bring the food, approx 40 min, and it wasn't good. We order feijoada that came only...with black beans, the cheese bread was the only thing that was good. They really need to improve the cleaning of the tables and the speed of the food.More
