Obviously a very popular spot. We arrived for our 17:30 reservation. Place was busy and people queuing to get in (a few tables inside were available but it was an hour wait for the patio). Great vibe and really fresh and tasty food. Not cheap...(but probably going rate for the standard and location and Vancouver). We had the burrata special appetiser; tasty but quite a meagre portion of the burrata (compared to what you’d get in Europe). Halibut special was spectacular. Partners salmon was very good too. Two appetisers, two mains, kids meal, side of truffle fries; large wine and a double whisky CAD200 with service and taxes.More

Fish entrees were beautifully prepared. We had the sockeye and halibut from the features menu. Great views with a lively atmosphere.

We were lucky enough to get a window table overlooking the marina which was a nice start to the evening. The restaurant interior is rather like an old wooden warehouse decorated with models of yachts, aircraft, and even a tug. It sounds a bit naff...but it works and gives the restaurant a warm welcoming atmosphere. This was our first visit to Canada and everybody had said that we must try the sockeye salmon. Before that one of us had a prawn cocktail and the other a salad as a starter - both perfect. We then both had the sockeye and were left a bit underwhelmed but not having had it previously we had no bench mark. We tried sockeye later on during our holiday and enjoyed it so maybe it was down to the cooking or perhaps just a matter of taste. In any event we enjoyed the evening, service was truly excellent, and hopefully we will return one day.More

We arrived at Cardero's with weather looking questionable, but wanted to sit outside. The deck was covered, heated and even had blankets available if needed/wanted. We both had burger with 2 sides of Caesar salad and fries. All was very good. Service was great and...we weren't hurried. A hard rain fell and our server encouraged dessert (on him)...who does that? Perfect!More

One of the best restaurants we visited during our trip. Decent food at a reasonable price, excellent location in the harbour and close to our hotel, good service.

We had friends in town for the day, and Cardero’s is out go-to restaurant to wow people’s socks off. The team at Cardero’s didn’t disappoint. The Wok Squid was fabulous as usual and the Prawn Sizzle with Extra Scallops is now a close contender for...our new favourite. Our waiter Erin was terrific and helped us navigate through the menu and wine list.More

We were surprised to discover how everyone who works in this restaurant tries to make your experience "wow". And the food (fish and vegetables) were cooked perfectly.

I strolled along the trail next to the Vancouver harbour to grab dinner on one of my nights in BC and it was a great experience. The environment was filled with good energy. Friendly staff, live music and a variety of great food selections. I...normally don't like ribs because of the smell and taste but I had the best ribs of my life here. I accidentally ate the bone because it melted in my mouth. Well seasoned ribs. I had the roasted sablefish as well. Was really good and perfectly seasoned. The sangria also was great. White or red, you can't go wrong. I can't wait to visit this place again and try other things off the menu. I seriously recommend a visit or two!More

In Vancouver for the evening and our hotel recommended Cardero's. So glad they did! It sits right at the edge of marina and Stanley Park right on the water. Staff was very welcoming. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful in making recommendations and some...minor alterations to menu. He was spot on! We were able to sit outside and enjoy it all. Food was incredible. Definitely get the Sablefish! Wok squid appetizer is well worth it especially if you throw in some prawns. Drinks were perfect and we finished it off with a great specialty lemon dessert. Overall fabulous experience!More

Call the restaurant and ask them. I live downtown, so I either walk or cab it. Because wine.

Not that we saw, but I wouldn't want to wear track pants here as it was a nice restaurant, if that helps?
