Located on the third floor of a quiet indoor mall with small utilitarian shops and fast-food stalls, Floata does not have carts but offers dim sum from a menu, including one with pictures. All our choices, including dumplings, meatballs, and steamed pork-filled buns, were freshly...More

On a return visit to Vancouver, we were surprised to see how few people there were in Chinatown. Very few restaurants were open, and most of the shops had their steel grilles closed across their windows and front doors. Subsequent discussions with locals led us...More

Just average tasting dim sum. Could use more taste. Restaurant too large, could not keep up with the orders going into the kitchen. Took forever for food to come out. Service was slow, possibly need more staff.

Wanted to get some dim-sum and looked to China town. Reasonable menu, Hong-Kong style, but small in comparison to the size of the hall. Weekend fare was fresh, warm, and tasty, straight from the kitchen, We enjoyed it well enough to return during the week....More

We were seated immediately as this restaurant in Vancouver’s historic Chinatown is the city’s largest restaurant located right near a Hop-On, Hop-Off Trolley stop. In addition to their Chinese-English menu, they had a Dim Sum picture menu which made it easy to order. Tea was...More
