My husband wanted Chinese in Chinatown. Hmmmmm, this was the only restaurant available for lunch. It was more like reception venue than restaurant. But, it was filled with locals, which I always consider to be a good sign. Our food was good, but I found...More

Enjoyed walking up and down the streets of Chinatown. But now we must find a good lunch stop. Asked and was told Floata. Seated and brought menus. Tea came quickly, along with any explanation we needed. This restaurant is a local choice, which is a...More

We had a party of nine and thus tried a lot of dishes. The two course duck meal was undoubtedly the highlight, if this was all we had I'd have given it 5 stars. Several of the other dishes were bad bordering on terrible. In...More

Did a thorough review of dim sum restaurants on TA and FS. Floata seemed to be the closest one to what we know as a good on trolleys dim sum. Whilst they don't have trolleys, they leave you with a picture menu and order form...More

I have eaten in this restaurant only once. The food was well prepared, politely and professionally served, but boring. They must run out of garlic or something. I have eaten Cantonese food before, so I know it can have more taste. The vegetable was cooked...More

Yesterday when we went the room was reduced to half so seemed limited. Also not many guests but then it was a perfect summer day and most would prefer an outside setting. The food was excellent and the service was adequate. A bit more attention...More

With the recent exodus of massive new building
projects hitting the neighbourhood, Chinatown; which
has always been one of the city's most vibrant areas;
is even more buzzing and buoyant than ever before.
Playing host to some of the city's best pan-Asian
cuisine, from fusion food to traditional home-cooking,
Chinatown has remained faithful to its roots as a
space which clambers with shop signs and welcomes
